watching it back now it has some cheesy cringeworthy moments, just like any film from that era.

but man what a classic film this is, bring back my whole childhood, the songs are all amazing, Srk and Kajol are top notch, their chemistry is just unbelievable. as are Hrithik, Kareena, amitabh and his wife.

It's the only film ever to ever make me legit cry watching it, even to this day the film gets me emotional.

Why don't Bollywood make family movies like this no more 😭

This movie is my guilty pleasure...I don't like cheesy movies but this one is an exception...must have watched it 25 + times by now..😆

I love watching this movie😆 Most of the 90s and early 2000s ki movies have great repeat value. That is hardly the case now, at least for me

i had read about this movie in a newspaper in early or mid 2000... i was so excited that it was an srk kjo movie and i kept waiting for the movie to release... it had all the big names in it...

i went to watch it in theatre... experience was so traumatic that it became my last srk movie in theatre 😆

my only regret is i didnt watch swades in theatre.. i think that movie was worth it...
