y there is no lady police officer. if she breached any law,some lady police officer might check her n they can fine her n can say civily leave d place if not allowed there. seems too much very progressive laws by a too much very progressed govt

With the recent event in their city,it looks more like someone called the cops to 'check on' this lady cause she was 'too much' covered for the beach..it's sad and unfortunate that because of some people,innocents have to go through this..

Lol the woman was respecting the law as she isn't wearing a burkini.

Also, French government isn't bothered by people from UAE when they come and spend their money here. They should stop being hypocrites.

France is a secular country so people should be free to practice their religion. Only right wing racists people won't understand this.

Isn't French president Hollande and his party pretty liberal?

He is facing election next year, his approval ratings hit record low, maybe they're doing this kind of stuff to appease people who are very upset after the series of terrorists attacks

No it's not understandable. France's culture has a lot of influence from other countries to begin with as there was always people immigration there from russia to portugal passing by asia and africa.

It was actualy a policy and that's why people are French once born on the territory as opposed as Germany where at one point one had to have germans ancestors to become german.

In fact immigration is beneficial for France on a lot of account for exemple the population isn't aging as opposed to Germany or Italy.

Also France colonized a lot of countries so it's only natural that people would immigrate to work when one see the state in which they left their colonies.

He won't be re-elected. People voted against Sarkozy that's why we ended up with Hollande as president. We also wanted some change but Hollande isn't active and making policies against people who voted for him.
