Shravan has been demoted way beyond... what wonderful character assisination of a character. To bring him this down from the heights he was once on... that he fell from the pedestal Suman had put him at? What for? Why I ask? Why couldn't he magnanimously lead Suman to Adi and then have Suman introspect/reflect? All in all this makes Shravan look like a villain, and Suman might as well be happy to be with Adi instead.

Shravan was not the troubled child... If the goal is to show how Ramnath failed as a parent but Nirmala didn't then that is wrong too. Nirmala has a fair share in what Shravan had to go through no matter how well we try to sugar coat it or bury it under the garb of her need to protect her self respect... No need to show Nirmala as a devi who sacrificed everything, and Sumo as another devi in making, who Shravan will have to now make up to? So Sumo was always right and Shravan was always wrong?

And, ofcourse the mahan Adi...

I hate it when beautiful shows like EDKV start so realistically and then fall so deep. Like from episode 100 onwards, the show, the characters and specially Shravan is on a downward spiral, and now there is no need, no need whatsoever for Suman to ever forgive Shravan. Even if Ramnath goes and begs Suman to take Shravan out of this shit.

They have killed Shravan's character completely - that it took us one day to go from sympathy for him to disgust.

And the song that comes to my mind is an old old classic by Talat Mehmood... You are not only shedding me from your eye as a tear, you are displacing me from the pedestal I was once at...

today Sumo's first dialogue to him at the revenge party...tum kya se kya ban gaye ho...Shravan now makes sense

But, when fall off a pedestal...there is only one way you can move ...you can rise

Where was he in his senses? The guy have been drinking for hours. He was totally wasted. He didn't know what he was saying. That's how I see it.

After today's Shravan and Suman scene i think whenever they are in the same frame this scene would come to my mind!! like it would take time to forget that scene.. unfortunately not because of how good it was.. 😡😡😡

That scene was total cringe worthy!!! I still can't believe the CV's did that to his character!! It took just one episode to ruin his whole image! 😭

and you are right - i hate when for glorifying one character, other characters are thrown in to the dumps. Here case in point - nirmala versus ramnath (as you mentioned - they are both at fault - so why set the stage to glorify one at the cost of the other?) - shravan versus Adi (why suddenly make adi a saint - out of nowhere - when all he has done is to butt in and rub some salt to sharavn's evident injuries) - and last but not the least - Shravan versus Suman - in the current track both are at fault - but the way the stage is being set - its only shravan who will be made to reflect and repent - clearly suman does not think she has done anything wrong - which, to me, is already wrong. and turning shravan's character to be so crass - my god! he could have been vile in a classy sassy way too - right?

Rightfully so, i kind of had a dreaded feeling while everyone was celebrating the 100th episode. Creatives usually cant write good stories beyond the first 60 or so episodes because they have exhausted more or less whatever they had when the show is conceptualized but we got 100 so i'll be contented with that.

I stopped watching the show 3 weeks ago and have been reading written updates. The only reason why i am sticking with the show is because i loved the characters and it had a good story to begin with also because there was a silly little video message by the show's team saying," Sab accha hoga!" Khac accha horaha hai.

That's true, but I dont think the CVS needed to go this route. Suman has zero , zero regret for what she has caused this guy too, and whatever room or chance we have today is ruined. Another good story chadh gai bali for TRP.

Yes, just one episode. Suman does not even for once think she is wrong or caused anything... She is infact busy saying meri aankhon se mat gir jao.

We cannot judge or label a character by 1-2 incidents.

A human can only take so much and everything has gone wrong for him.

As it is the fact that his mother walked out in his prime youth has not sat well with him.

He will rise...above and beyond what he has been.

You are so right and explain it so well. And the song which you relate for Shravan is perfect one. I heard this song earlier , played on colors tv show Laagi tujhse Lagan, same situation where Dutta behaves rude with Nakusha.
