Anupamaa: Anu's ghost appears, confronts Rajni for killing her

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Anupama frantically tries to control the raging fire. A sense of danger grips her, making her increasingly restless. Rahi keeps calling out for Prerna in panic, while Pari explains how the fire suddenly started. Rahi remains extremely worried about Prerna's safety. Sensing that her child's life is at risk, Anupama rushes forward without thinking twice.

Rajni confesses her jealousy and wishes Anupama’s destruction

Meanwhile, Rajni makes a chilling declaration that everything will turn to ashes. She openly admits that she has always been envious of Anupama and claims that this time, Anupama will burn forever. Repeating her threats, Rajni insists that Anupama's end has arrived. Soon after, Anupama reaches the spot and is relieved to see Rahi, Pari, Ishani, and Preet unharmed. However, Varun is stunned to see Anupama outside and suddenly realises that Prerna is still trapped inside the burning house. Panic takes over him as he fears for Prerna's life.

The moment Anupama learns that Prerna is still inside, she fearlessly runs into the fire to save her. Leela becomes uneasy, and Hasmukh asks her what is wrong. Leela admits that she cannot explain her fear but feels something terrible is about to happen. Varun is left shocked as he watches Anupama risk her life without hesitation.

Anupama searches desperately for Prerna amid the flames

Inside the burning house, Anupama desperately searches for Prerna, calling out her name through the smoke. At the same time, Rajni celebrates, convinced that Anupama will not survive. Varun returns home and confronts Rajni, telling her that everything has gone wrong. He breaks down, regretting his role in setting the house on fire and putting Prerna's life in danger. Rajni is shaken when she learns that Prerna was inside the house. She collapses emotionally, realising that her own actions have harmed her daughter. Varun expresses deep regret over being Rajni's son.

Later, Rajni sees Anupama in her dream. Anupama warns her that she will face punishment for her sins, not just in this life but even after death. Rajni wakes up trembling in fear. Both Rajni and Varun are left crying, overwhelmed by guilt and fear.

Anupama rescues Prerna as chaos erupts outside the chawl

Back at the scene, Anupama finally finds Prerna unconscious and pleads with her to open her eyes. Outside, a woman accuses Anupama of putting the entire chawl at risk and claims that both Anupama and Prerna might die in the fire. Rahi loses her temper and fiercely defends her mother. She scolds the woman for blaming Anupama, who is risking her own life to protect everyone. Rahi questions why no one else stepped forward to help Anupama when she ran into the flames alone.

With great effort, Anupama manages to rescue Prerna. Rahi and Preet believe that Lord Krishna protected both of them. Bharti soon learns about Rajni's actions and calls her an irresponsible and cruel mother. Varun admits that he is equally at fault, as he blindly followed Rajni's orders. Bharti regrets ever considering Rajni as her mother and decides to leave the house. Varun begs Bharti to take him along, saying he cannot survive if he stays back with Rajni. Rajni is left shattered as she cries out for both Varun and Bharti, now completely alone.

Varun exposes Rajni as the mastermind behind the fire

The doctor advises Rahi to take special care of Anupama. While resting, Anupama sees Anuj in her dream and seeks his guidance, sharing her fear about the builder who wants to demolish the chawl. She pleads with him to show her the right direction and complains that even Lord Krishna seems silent. Anuj calms her and asks her to stay strong. Soon, Lord Krishna appears and tells Anupama to rely on wisdom and smart planning to defeat evil.

Anupama wakes up, worried about Prerna's condition. Everyone begins discussing how the fire started. Prerna suspects Rajni's involvement, but Anupama refuses to believe that Rajni could stoop so low. Varun and Bharti arrive, and Varun finally confesses the truth, revealing that Rajni was behind the fire. He expresses deep remorse for obeying her blindly throughout his life. Rahi questions Bharti for staying quiet, but Bharti explains that she was unaware of Rajni's plan and left immediately after learning the truth. Preet points out that Bharti did not leave alone, as Varun came with her.

Bharti says that Varun is truly remorseful and urges Anupama not to forgive Rajni this time. Rahi, Prerna, and Varun all encourage Anupama to stand firm and fight back against injustice.

In the precap, Rajni wakes up feeling frightened as she senses something unusual around her. She notices someone walking and screams, asking who it is. Confused and scared, Rajni wonders that if Anupama has already failed, then who could possibly be standing there. Suddenly, Anupama appears in front of her, dressed in a white saree with her hair left open. She tells Rajni that she may have lost to life, but she has not lost to her. Rajni is left completely stunned by the sight.

As Anupama steps closer, Rajni panics and falls off the bed in fear. She starts crying for help and runs around the room, desperately calling out to the security staff. Anupama then questions Rajni about why she tried to kill her. Rajni is left terrified and shaken, unable to believe that Anupama’s ghost is standing right in front of her. It appears that Anupama has planned this act to trap Rajni, expose the truth, and teach her a lesson.
