There are many fans of bollywood stars here in this forum both male and female.

When a female adores a female actor wholeheartedly supposedly say deepika padukone , priyanka or Anushka or ...any among the popular good looking heroines...its very ok and normal fan habit, no issues.

But why it happens that if a male is head over heels for a male actor, it is construed in a different light , not always though.

Why am i asking this??

Few days back this varun dhawan and john starrer dishoom released. There were many pictures available through instagram and FB about the movie stills. So i liked one of the john abraham and varun dhawan pics. and made it my wallpaper display in my iphone. Two days later in office two female colleagues saw my phone display and started grinning and chirping around that why on earth i need to have a john abraham pic in my mobile? Seeing their funny faces , i initially didnt get what was the laugh all about as i was busy but later i understood what they were trying to mean.

There are girls among us we may know who daily keep on murmuring how beautiful is deepikas figure. How hot is jacqueline. How fair and beautiful is kareena. How seductive is priyanka looking in the quantico teaser., and there are others like- "Oh My God my favourite is Madhuri dixit since ages, I just love her."

Will anybody blame that the girl is any homosexual, lesbian to act like this?

But if a man idiolises a sexy, chiseled body of varun dhawan as an inspiration, if he admires siddharth malhiotras and fawad khans looks or goes gaga over ranveer singh's and john abraham or srk, salman as shirtless...then what is the conclusion derived by quite a big number of people? He is homosexual, he is gay.

I mean WTH...if men adores deepika, priyanka and has their images as wallpaper display, then he is straight or else not???

It is perfectly fine if there is a girl to girl crush . If a female fan who is completely straight but loves having a female crush over any actress for her beauty, its NORMAL.

But when it comes to male fans- ???...i dont need to answer.

Once a salman khan fan told me that he would never retweet shirtless image of salman in langot from sultan, cause people would think him to be fantasizing salman.

I mean where are we heading? Its not just girls who presume such things but there are men who just love sports , no bollywood , hollywood. They will also think that way as being macho means no drooling on the same sex.Period.

I have changed my wallpaper with an image of lord hanuman. Now i fear next accusation would be, are you communal? have you turned into RSS agent, Hindutva agent?

Very sad state of affairs i must say...

It must be one odd incident. I know lots of people Boys and men whom put up pics of Male actors, singers, models , celebs etc without being judged.

Why do you even care what others think.

Your last statement tells clearly that people will judge irrespective of what you do. may be I judge, u judge and we all judge.

You love someone put their wallpaper, kiss their photo, stare at them, do anything. Don't care for what others think. 😳

This is true .. so very very true ..😆

Even the Hanuman part is on point ! .. to be honest even i tend to judge people by what they put in their DP's ( mobile screen , whatsapp , FB whatever ) .. judgemental outlook is something which comes very naturally to most of us .. its good in some ways & bad in others..if you happen to be on the receiving end of it , key is to not care about what other people think .. and i know its easier said than done .. humans after all are supposed to be "social beings" , so whether we like it or not , what other people think about us carries a lot of weightage .. in my experience the only place where i have been able to exercise complete "i dont give a f**k attitude" is here on I-F - its anonymous , its virtual , its non-social , its perfect ! .. too bad , i am not on twitter ..😆
