not always do they tap their potential to the fullest or are given opportunities to shine to their fullest despite having talent

Chitrangada wasted her career.She was spectacular in Hazaaro Khwahishein Aisi

Tabu(should have worked in many more films)

Rani should have entered the film industry in this decade.

Manisha Koirala too should have had a longer career

Kareena could have given the audience so much more.

Vidya should have kept her weight in check and done about half a dozen more films

Parineeti is a natural..she should have worked a lot harder and been more ambitious

Vidya.

This girl has so so much potential! She is the best actress in everyone ranging from PC to Kangana! I have rarely seen her uncomfortable/ overact onscreen.

She just doesn't have that drive I feel! She has it in her to be the top actress - she has got looks, acting potential, screen presence working for her but not enough ambition to come at the top. She takes big gaps in between Mediocre movies, loses all the momentum she builds after one good film because of the gap! Needs to plan out her career more smartly!

yes but in all due respect this doesn't answer my question..no?

coz she may have been a bigger star but she surely did not waste her talent..she did utilize it to quite the fullest..i would have said this about her back in 07-08 when she was doing the likes of Hey baby and KK..but even presently she surely has a great body of work where her talent has been utilized..my take on it strictly! :)

Vidya, Kajol, Kareena did not wasted thier talent, they are/were superstars. Manisha too was a star during a period, after all she has record number of critics filmfare award.

Chitrangda is a good example. Asin too is a good one.
But one name IMO who could have had a great career but wasted it because of sanskar BS was Bhagyashree.

Another decent acting talent was Mugdha Godse.

After Lootera so many people fell in love with her and wanted to see her in more performance oriented characters but she disappointed everyone by choosing films like Action Jackson and Tevar after that.

I don't know if anyone else will agree but I always thought Urmila was very underrated. She did have some successful movies and successful songs etc but she never made it to the top, sadly.

Another actress who I thought was not bad and could have done more movies was Ayesha Takia. She seemed to have lost interest after Wanted and getting married, I don't remember any movie of hers after Wanted.
