- Her mom and her have an argument about it.
Full Dec 12 Written Update w/ Comments (At the end)
Manya's Room:
Next morning, Monto aims rocks at Manya's bedroom window, while Manya is sleeping. He continues to do so, and finally, Manya wakes up and goes to the balcony.
Manya:What happend?
Monto in return says: I have been waiting out here for 18 mintues and you are still sleeping.
Manya:Well, it is still 5am, so I dont want to wake up yet.
Monto: Di, please please please would you come down, as after one week, you will leave for dance accedemy, so can u spend sometime with me please?
Monto tries to make a cute face inorder to make Manya say yes, Manya is thinking.
Manya: NO
and leaves, while Monto is angry.
In Family Room:
Manya's mom is bringing her dadu breakfast but her Nani stops her and says
Nani: Wait, take this kheer(Indian sweedish), as I have made it specially for your father -in-law."
And just than, Monto comes running into the room while Manya behind him, wearing a Green dress. Manya's mom stops her and questions her.
Mom: What happened?
Manya: Mom look, Monto says that when I become famous, he would take my autographs and sell them to make money
Nani: Look at your Manya di, be like her and study.
Monto is shown thinking & goes and sits on the sofa.
Monto Hm...
and than Manya comes, and moves him from the sofa, hands him a pen & paper and sits on the same sofa while Monto stands up. Manya tells him to write and says
Manya: When I get a big car, & a big big mansion...
Monto interupts her and says
Monto: Than I will come with you, as your P.A(Personal Assistant)
but Manya has other plans in mind and says
Manya: Naa, when I enter in my big car, and than the big gate will open, you will be standing there, slatuting me
Monto gets angry and leaves disappointed while Nani, Manya and Manya's mom laugh.
Manya's mom says: Oh, in all this, I forgot to give, Manya's dadu breakfast
and leaves. Manya is also about to leave, when Nani stops her.
Nani: Manya, now where are you going?
Manya: Nani, I have lots of things that I have to show dadu, so please let me go and leaves.
Outside, in the garden:
Manya comes to her grandpa with trophies and starts to tell him things.
Manya: Dadu, I always wished that I would get my old grandpa back and be alright and she is very happy about it. These are my very 1st anklets and I started learning dancing when I was 7, I used to remember how mom would with force leave me for classes but than, I would make an excause and leave.
but her grandpa starts to talk about Anoop(Manya's dad)
Dadu: He was 5
and shows Manya an album with pics of Anoop & Dadu when Anoop was little.
Dadu: He was 6 when he wore his 1st uniform
And shows her more pics, Manya tries to change the subject, but in vain and finally leaves crying.
Many's bedroom:
Manya comes to her bedroom and starts to cry. Her mom comes there.
Mom:What happened Manya? Why are you crying?
Manya while crying says: She thought that she had brought her dadu back, but he is still thinking about his son, and she cant do anything...cuz she is not his son
and continues to cry while her mom stands there, helpless.
*Flashback*: Manya's mom opens the door and thinking that it is Anoop says: So Mr. Anoop Sharma, today your punishment is...
but stops mid -sentance seeing not Anoop but 2 police officers standing there and says I am sorry, I thought it was Anoop, where is he?
Police dont reply and Dadu comes there, and asks what happened, and the police take their hat off,
Mom says: What happened, why arent you saying anything?
to Dadu while he replies "He wont come back" and both Mom and Dadu cry.
Manya's Room:
Manya is looking at the picture album of her dadu & her dad, while tears drop from her eyes. Manya looking at the pics, reads the captions underneath that say My son, who I am proud off Manya turns the page and looks at another picture & reads another caption. Who says, that humans dont have the right to dream? I am proud of my son, but now he is gone, left us, today, someone became a widow & someone an orphan, Gone, maybe people said the right thing, There should be a limit of dreaming. Manya to herself says, maybe that's why Dadu talked to me & showed movement, maybe he felt that I could do something, and is wondering.
Manya hears someone laughing, and talking saying "You have done my proud, I am happy, who said that I couldnt talk or move? Now, my mission is accomplished"
Outside:
Manya walks towards the sound & voice, and finds her grandpa talking to someone, and walks up to the person, and turns them around to see, that it was no one else but herself in a police uniform.
Manya wakes up from her dream. She is shown on a beach, doing non -stop dancing, while flashbacks of her dadu, pics of her dad, dance accedemy letter are shown, and finally she stops, and falls to the ground.
Scene Of The Day - Attic
Manya goes to the attic chest, and opens it, & takes something out. She walks over to her grandpa, and says "Dadu, now you dont have to keep these in the chest" and hands him a police uniform.
Manya says: Now your son has come back, yes dadu, I promise, I will show you that I can be your son and will be your son
Dadu moves his eyes, and body, and Manya leaves, while her mom is shown watching, bullet sounds in the backround, and is terrified.
Dining Room -
Monto comes inside Manya's home carrying a suitcase and says "I am only 3 feet and this suitcase is 5 feet" and meets Manya.
He says "Di, why are you leaving tommorow? Massi told me that you were supposed to leave next week for your dance accedemy?"
Manya just stands there.
Manya's mom's room:
Manya goes to her mom and says "Ma, I dont want to go the the dance accedemy, I want to go the the Police force."
Her mom disagrees and gets angry at Manya. Manya tries to make her understand, but in vain & also tries to calm her down.
Manya's mom says "Did you dadu tell you to sarcrifice your happiness for his?"
Manya says "Wish he could talk, but he cant, he is in shock of losing his son. Mom, how can I forget the salute he gave me? The happiness in dadus eyes how?"
Manya begs for her mom to her let her go "Mom please, please let me go, please"
Her mom disagrees and says "I dont want to talk about the anymore, & it is final that you are going to go to the dance accedemy tommorow"
and leaves while Manya cries. Epi ends on Manya's crying face.
Comments -
It was over all, a very good epi, I liked it. I liked the part where Manya is with her dadu in the attic, and hands him the uniform saying "His son was back" I think that it was the most powerful scene fo the whole epi. I dont know why, but I am liking this show, as it is different, and I hope it stays like this.
I find that Monto is the most funniest of the all and I must give a standing ovasion to the dialouge writer, they are doing a superb job on the dialouges.
Title Song -
I finally heard the title song and it was good! I liked it, just resembled the whole story. Rating 9/10
My thoughts -
I dont know why, but I have a feeling, that today night, Manya will run away from home join the police force, or her mom will finally give in, & say that she can go. I dont want Manya to leave a bad expression on her mom.
Characters -
Manya - I like her characaters, but I dont know why, but I feel that Parivaa, is tooo much into Manya's character, which is good, but sometimes, she over reacts, and in the scene where she was crying saying that "She can never be her dadu's son" it felt as if, instead of saying what she felt, it looked like a stubborn girl was whining. Can improve that a bit.
Monto - I must say that he is a smart kid, getting Manya's autographs and selling them to make money, interesting...and thoughtful too! I must say, that if u have any money minding to do, call Monto, he is an expert!
Maa - I cant comment on her but the actress that plays the character, is good. I can understand, why she wont let Manya go to the police force, I think she is afraid that if she does, than something similar that happened with Anoop might happen with Manya too.
Dadu - I respect the actor that plays it, and also does a very very good job of it.
Rating - 9/10 Today, I felt that Manya over acted a bit.a
