Chill guys and lets be positive. Yeh engagement news padke sabka halat kharab hai (including me). But mujhe lagtha hai cvs itne budhu tih nahi honge na. Apnu sabse popular show ko kharab toh nahi karenge kyunki they should know how strong we devakshi fans are. We'll quit the show if they try to break devakshi permanently. Aur engagement karni hi hoti toh they could have done dev and natasha's engagement. Tab toh it was only one sided love. When they didnt let the engagement happen then i dont think they will go with it now. It is too much of risk. It will put sonas character also in bad light. Dev has already broken all his promises, if sona also breaks her promises (ofcourse for her parents sake) there will be nothing for us fans to watch or wait for. She asked dev whether he made those promises asking his mom. Even she didnt make promises asking her parents so we cant have her break them also. Even before dev and natashas engagement he put the ring on her finger ( to check the size ofcourse) bur i think it is symbolic that they are meant to be together and neither of them with anyone else. In our Indian culture an engament is like sealing of a relationship. I dont think they will let it happen now if they didnt let it happen with Natasha. Afterall the show is about Dev balancing his relationship with mom and sona and Ishwari's journey of overcoming her insecurities and accepting sona wholeheartedly. For both of these sona is needed in their lives. That is the main story and i think cvs are rushing so much to come to the main plot of ishwari overcoming her insecurities. Yeh track toh sirf dev babu ko jatka dene keliye hai. Afterall bina koi jatke ke hamare dev babu koi important decision lete jo nahi hai. Varna sona rothi rahegi dev rotha rahega bas aur kuch nahi. Ab is ritwick ki vajah se dev kuch toh karne ki sochega. So chill guys.

PS. I only hope this ritwiks character is short. Lambey samay tak is track ko bardasht karna bahut mushkil hoga.

I think it is more of a realisation track for Sona too that she can't have anyone else in place of dev

Absolutely. The whole saga is based on the trio relationship so definitely there won't be any engagement. She'll back out last minute realising it's not that easy to get over him. He too, will realise he definitely wants his Mother's happiness but to breath he needs Sonakshi. And eventually Ishwari with time will realise her insecurities are baseless & they can't live without eachother. There goes the HAPPY ENDING
