I feel Veer has toned down with regards to his fashion but that is the least of his issues now. Its his constant PDA with Deepika, of which she is guilty too, which gets on the nerves of people, non-Deepveer shippers essentially, which lets face it is the majority. Is this hurting his image and I say this because he has just 3.3 million followers on twitter which is an abysmally small number that too after the success of BM. Many would disagree with me and say that social media does not matter yet fact is that the most popular stars have the highest following. Is this a reflection of his lack of popularity amongst the masses?? Is being hatke and putting forth #relationshipgoals hampering rather than benefitting him

P.S. I like Veer irrespective of the drama cause he does come across as a really sweet guy who is genuinely talented yet for some reason he hasn't been able to generate a mass hysteria or the level of fan following which Ranbir had during his peak and which even Varun Dhawan seems to have managed to an extent.

P.P.S. Yes there will be many who love him the way he is and do not want him to change but how does our opinion matter if we are in the minority and can't make his movies a hit.

umm if u look at varuns twitter he has 3.2 million followers, sid has 3.1 million followers and ranveer has 3.3 million, so they all hav a lot of followers

ranveer also has 4.5 million followers on Instagram and 5.5 million followers on facebook, so he is doing gud popularity wise

in terms of male stars its only the khans, hrithik and amitabh which hav really high followers on social media, the rest hav lower

But Zara he has been around for much longer and gave such a gigantic hit in BM. His twitter following should have surged instead its still moving at a snail's pace.

The true test of popularity is box office and with the likes of Varun and Tiger registering good to decent openings for their crappy movies too I feel Veer needs to up his game. Befikre's opening will be the true test of his popularity now.

well that all depends upon the content of the film, ranveer has had gud openings numbers in movies like ramleela, bm and gunday earned 16 crores on its opening day, even DDD earned 10 crs on his first day which is gud

and he hasn't done a lot of films, its still very early in his career, give him some time and he will get there. he still has a long way to go, theres no need to rush

i personally hav no panic over his career, everything doesn't hav to happen rite now, his career will grow at its own pace

He is a very good actor but I dont agree that Varun has more fan following than him (didnt check the no of followers on twitter though).. He has established himself as an actor more than Varun.. If I was a Veer fan I would have been seriously irritated by his PDA with DP because reports like "DP makes Ranveer relevant" would have resulted in severe migraine... But in any case changing yourself to fit in the opinion of others is never a good idea in my opinion..

Dont know if my opinion matters as I have been labelled as a Ranveer hater and we had a couple of arguments on other threads as well...

I feel the same way Yam...like he had generated so much goodwill with BM...people finally had started to take him seriously as an actor but the repeated shenanigans of his at award shows has kind of eroded that goodwill. Like I know people in the real world who go like acha actor hain par bada nautanki hain.

I really wish he focuses on his career and stops being so melodramatic. I don't want him to stop being as generous, honest and loving as he is but yeah some restraint would help him a lot.

When he wasn't so much in the news i was warming up towards him and really liked him and then all of a sudden he is everywhere with his antics ( dressing ...dp...PDA...pleasing every other star...minding everyone's business etc etc ) and that just worked like cold water on me and that warmth is gone now unfortunately .

So yes he needs to tone down in my opinion.

😳 agree dear iam ranveer fan i got irritate by his energy sometimes but then isaw his private pic and saw his intv he has this habbit infront of crowed he goes mad whenever heis attending any family function or wedding too even.sirla is deepika friend but his dance and energy was their so.he is like this only ither celebs changing personlaities acc their star dom but he didnot but iwant him some more mature now
