Dev had only Sona to whom he could show all his emotions. He'd be a kid with her, he'd cry in her lap, he'd go to her house at wee hours when he wanted to talk to her.
But breaking up with her, he has lost his only friend also.
Yesterday after watching the precap I was going mad "how dare he call her?" "Now what is he calling her for?"
"He still has the audacity to call her?"
I didn't even realize this while watching the episode but now when I'm writing this I get why did he call her.
He hid all his emotions in front of the family members and walked off with a fake smile but he needed someone to talk to, and he called the only person whom he can talk to about anything which comes out to be Sona, the girl with whom he had just broken up, fortunately or unfortunately.
Yes he has dug the well for himself.
But poor boy, for whom he did all this doesn't even care to know his actual state of mind.
He literally has NO ONE now.
Yes Dev broke up with Sona, he initiated the breakup. But the fact is no matter who choses to end the relationship it is both of the partners who have to go through the post breakup phase.
Sona was very heartbroken, shocked and she let her emotions out in front of her whole family. There is this family of hers, who knows what she is going through. Atleast when she cried there was her Dada, Eli or her Dad to console her and tell her that everything is gonna be fine, they made her feel that they are right there with her.
But when it comes to Dev. He didn't had even a single person to tell what hell he is going through.
He is crying all alone and showing that nothing has happened and that the breakup isn't affecting him at all. He has no one to console him or guide him.
We can't forget that it isn't just Sona who is going through a breakup but Dev too is going through it all.
Atleast Sona can blame Dev for whatever is happening but dev..? He has no one else other than himself to give away the blame.
I wasn't thinking at all for him for the past few days. But I tried to think what all he'd be going through and came up with this.
There isn't any "team sona" or "team dev" for me. I feel for both of them. And I felt for Dev quite off late.
But the sad part is, this is just the beginning he'll have to face almost hell in the coming days and there'd be no one on his side.
Not even the lady for whom he did so much.
