Ok so it is common on Indian TV to see a women who has been misunderstood some how. What creates this misunderstanding? Usually the villians or some one trying to break up the couple for their own reasons but never the less it is most commonly the women.
And from all the desi soaps I have seen.. the women's pain and distress is never treated with the same urgency and sensitivity as a man's in reel life..It's usually trivialized, marginalized ,glossed over in a jiffy...she's either made into a martyr or madonna , weeping copious amounts of tears in silence ,and still expected to mop it up and whip up some tasty dishes all the while looking serenely beautiful!

Meanwhile the man is usually excused as being so damaged, destroyed,in intense pain , in need of unconditional love and endless healing ! Besides he gets to do all the fun things too: throwing stuff around, kicking things down, and tasting/ eating all the food prepared especially for him!

It is the same case scenario here? I understand the case for Harman he feels he is being consipired against. But the truth of the matter is that Soumeya too was conspired against. She was never told she was a kinner. Again he has the right to get angry and she doesnt.. Because she is ashamed of who she is.. She quietly takes his anger and thinks is justified. Why doesnt she stand up for herself? And say you know why I tried to kill myself? Because I was lied to my whole life about my idenity? You have only been lied to for a few days?

AGAIN.. suicide is not the best way to show character strength

Editing still in progress...
Many things wrong with this show.. will get back later

It's the case with all TV shows where women are doormats and the males over power them and abuse them physically and emotionally while in the end, women say sorry and then both live a happy life...Here too they are showing Harman treating Saumya too harshly...I can understand he's angry with her but why be so rude to her always...Can't he see the pain she's going through? Doesn't he know she cut her wrist when she got to know the truth...It's really sad 😒

Exactly the poor thing commit suicide because had to deal with the shock of a lifetime.. Coudnt Harman see her pain when she was crying and told him the truth.. Instead of showing the least bit of empathy he makes it harder for her.. I know he got decieved.. I am not the one who believes in taking anyone right to consent away but they should shed some perspective

IMO,Kinners are degraded more in the way the CV's have caricaturised Saaya the omnipotent, the superhuman one who is anywhere and everywhere. The idea should be to show them as human ,not sub or super-human.

It is human to hate people who you have been close to and who you feel have decieved you-I know siblings who have'nt spoken to each other for years because they have felt betrayed .

As far as Harman is concerned,he is a conventional small town guy who is shown to be rather superficial and shallow. He is a part of the society. He feels he has been lied to and also is disgusted at the idea of being married to a Kinnar and that is all normal.Infact that is one of the things that the CV's have done cleverly -showing how a guy who could'nt keep his hands off his wife ,is now disgusted by her touch.
The only redeeming factor is that he still has some decency and has not thrown Saumya to the wolves as yet.

Saumya has been crippled by her mother. She has been given no tools to stand up and fight for herself.

Anyway, this is early days for a Hindi serial which can go on forever-somewhere along the line Saumya hopefully will stand up for herself and Harman will become the enlightened one .

Just fir info only...just read...no comment

Today i found this article in newspaper...

Transgender flight attendants soon on Philippines AirAsia

Now everyone can apply!

Philippines AirAsia, an affiliate of Malaysia's AirAsia, is in the process of implementing an all-inclusive hiring policy that will "offer equal employment opportunities to everyone irrespective of their gender identity and sexual orientation."

This includes cabin crew positions, though right now the only vacancies are in the sales, marketing, engineering and ground operations departments.

Philippines AirAsia isn't the first to do this in Asia " now-defunct PC Air of Thailand did that in 2012.

The airline company, which has more than 1,000 employees to date (40 per cent of them women), also accepts qualified family members of employees as long there's no conflict of interest.

Transgenders refers to individuals whose self-identity does not conform to their assigned sex at birth.

It can be someone who born a woman and identifies as a man (transman), or someone born a man who identifies as a woman (transwoman).

The thing is, Harman is free to divorce her after a number of days. He can move on with his life. He should also think that Saumya is going to be stuck with the problem for the rest of her life.

I agree with the fact that Harman hasn't realized yet why Soumya cut her wrist, neither Soumya has told him about this! I think she needs to stand up for herself now and tell Harman about how she was lied her whole life by her own family!

i feel harman is justified..no bdy is mahaan. being married to a kinnar is a very big thing..jst imagine wat agirl feels wen dey get married to a gay...or a man who is impotent.. first of all ur lyf is ruined and if u break marraige den society comes to knw and u will b taunted and made fun of.

also saumya will b in so much pain bt no bdy can do anything for her..

d plot of d show shud b educatn and career of transgender and not marriage..hw cn u think of putting dem into normal marriage and show love story wid a normal man.. its impossible...colors just wants to touch social issues bt dey dnt knw hw to deal wid it...dey will pick up a social issue and den add same saas bahu bkwas..
