Just Curious..Can anyone tell what happened to Supriya?
She's just vanished into thin air?!

I don't have access to Kalaignar TV - so can't tell if she's camping out there?

Ummm looks like this tread is empty. Let me start something ๐Ÿค” Which story do you think is the best so far in chinna thirai?

For me, it was Metti Oli. I enjoyed the story line very much. Not dragging and no confusion. From the start to the end, the director had managed to capture everyones attention. The fact that the actress was acting plain (without make-up) was good. Nowdays serials, the actress will be up from the bed yet they have foundation, lipstick and eyeliner ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜† The poor ones will manage to look like rich girls with good sarees and so on (infact, their nails will be neatly polish ๐Ÿ˜› ). In metti oli, the 5 girls stayed the way their family are. Even up to the end, we saw the family bond there. I really had enjoyed this family stories alot.

My second best would be Kadalika Neram Illai ๐Ÿ˜† just kidding naa. Have to wait another year before i can decide on dat ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Not that any of us here will miss
Supriya - she was not a good anchor
anyways.

Netra, have u seen the serials -
Jannal, Anni, Sahana .. etc.,
if u get an opportunity to get the
DVD s try to watch these - K.Balachander
knows exactly how to keep his viewers
glued to the TV!!! The serial "Penn" by
Suhasini, " chinna chinna aasai" by
Suresh Menon/Revathy are also good ones.
Unfortunately, now we have none that can
come close to any of these!!!

like most of you all here, i echo the sentiments that supriya won't be missed because she was not a good actress/anchor.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

okay, about good chinna thirai stories. i really liked Penn when it started out but after CJ Baskar's constant butchering of character, i just lost interest in it.๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคข

now i'm addicted to this afternoon soap that comes on sun tv, 'Thirumathy Selvam'. i find the concept of it to be rather unique. so far the lead haven't met or fallen in love and the situations are very realistic.

it shows how illiterate women are treated differently even by their own family members just because they are not as well-educated as their counterparts.๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

No Netra, the one I am talking about was done
by Suhasini - long back - one story/episode -
she did 13 different stories - was excellent.

Jiggs, I do not watch Thirumathi Selvam but I
do watch Vasantham - the story is different.
There is this guy who gets married for a
second time but AFTER his first marriage ends
up in a divorce - that itself is a relief!!
This again is basically about relationship
between spouses - we get to see 3 main couples
who go through ego trip and jeopardize their
life - so far this is ok - hope they tow the
line and keep it interesting.
