Anika , a character who has entertained me in every episode. Kudos to Surabhi , she has brought the character to life without going over the top! š
Anika is bold and strong, she has fought her way through the tribulations of life. She has her fears but she tries to overcome them by herself. She works hard and is confident. She is loving yet daring. She would do anything, sacrifice anything to protect her loved ones but she would not hesitate to fight against injustice. She could take any number of insults but she would not break, especially in front if those who think she is weak. She did not show any emotion except defiance even after Shivaay took away everything from her. As she says' Jab zindagi muhje nahin tod payi tho aap kya thodenge'. But I loved it how they made Shivaay realize that by showing her true feelings only when he saw it through the rear mirror. He would eventually realize there is very sensitive side to the bold face that she exhibits.
But the best part is , she is inherently a happy go lucky kind of person. Humour comes naturally to her and that is her blessing in disguise. She may seem crass , the ' jhalli' type , but the ability to find something to smile about in the smallest of things is what makes her tide over everything and keep going strong. Here , I have to applaud the dialogue writer who brings life to the character. Her witty retorts and funny one liners are too good. It is such a treat to watch Surbhi deliver those lines. I remember how much I laughed when she says, 'Inke brake fail ho gaye kya?' š¤£
Now that the misunderstanding is cleared, I guess Shivaay will start to see her in new light and the day will come when he will laugh out loud too ! š
