What happened to the Rs.2 crore?

Prachi could not give the ransom money to the kidnappers because the police landed there and scared them away. But where is the suticase containing the money. Prachi returned home empty handed - no ritwik, no money. Did she trust Alaap to bring it back safely? Poor Milsi, not only has he shelled out Rs.2 crore for his wife's 'child' but also got whacked on the head by the kidnappers and still no sign of the baby.

I'd say its lost in transit for the time being..:)

Magno, we are talking about Rs.2 crores. That is a lot of money to forget in the car. What if it gets lost. Then she would have lost the money and the baby!
Tsk Tsk, come on Prachi we know that your are tight lipped when it comes to revealing the raaz. But atleast keep the money safe till you get the baby back. Milsi is not going to oblige again if you lose it. The guy must already be fuming for having been whacked on the head in trying to save her 'child'.
