We still do not know what kaand is there in that file which shagun has. If there is anything against IshRa being biological parents, then it becomes ugly and the DNA tests and other things would come in to play. If not, if there is something on the sorts of Raman / Ishita accidentally signing some papers regarding the parental rights be given to shagun when she marries someone or something like that, again it would be difficult for IshRa in the battle.
If the file itself is not brought in the picture, then shagun would only emotionally brainwash Pihu and though IshRa are biological parents, the court will also seek the childs's decision regarding whom she prefers to stay with. So it is natural that Pihu would opt for shagun. Considering the child being so small, it might be a rinse and repeat where IshRa is given a specific time period where they have to convince Pihu to stay back.
IMO, Pihu should first know that she is the biological daughter of IshRa and shagun just brought her up all these years. IshRa has to tell this truth to her carefully. Pihu would definitely hate both Raman and Ishita after the truth, just like Ruhi did. . Shagun might send Pihu thinking that her bond with Pihu is stronger and she can keep brainwashing her. Despite that Pihu might see through Ishita's goodness & motherly love, understand shagun's manipulations and have a change of heart. While I feel Raman has a major part to play along with Ishita here, Adi, Ruhi & family might also play their parts in making Pihu understand about shagun.
I am still wondering how would Mani and Ishita's equation change during the custody battle. Also Mihir-Alia equations would be interesting to know.
On a lighter note, if it happens to be the same judge for this custody battle as well, woh kade kade coma mein chali jayegi. She will say "Iss family ko custody khel khelne ki alawa kuch kam nahi hai kya. Hey Bhagwan, please mujhe utale ".😆🤪🤪
