My take on TD at present (Oct 18 '05)

its been a long time ..actually nowadays I am starting all my messages with this line....for one TD is not going great guns and secondly i've been kind of busy lately..anyways let me straightaway list out my intent for this post. I wanted to discuss the reunion of Ds....(btw I typed out this message early this week...so some of them may be a bit old..but I guess I will post it anyways...)

I dunno how many of u will agree with me on this....we have been looking forward to this (the reunion of Ds that is) for long...(realllly a lonnnng time...) but then when it finally happened (and forgive me for saying this) it has been nothing but a damp squib....Somehow it all seemed so sudden that everything fell into place....suddenly DK met Pori and she decided to confess everything......as if the makers thot that they can no longer milk the 'separation' saga so just decided to end it and start the 'revenge' (everyone except cutie Gautam, flip-flop Suhas and always the same Azuba) and 'pati, patni, woh' saga(read Maheka)...and of course now they have included a track for black magic and vodoo as well...i wonder what is next in line...

Vasudha (or whatever) was supposed to be a positive character. But then looks like she and Gargi are sisters (the way they keep looking at the foto....)..and who predicted this one ? jingle..is it u ?? if yes, My 1st prize goes to jingle for thinking more like Guhas now..(and jingle pls don't take offence to this statement).

Acting wise DK proves himself as a person who sometimes excels or sometimes is just plain mediocre.....I shud say that he has come out of his stiff expression in the romantic scenes but I feel that there is scope for improvement and he can perform better. But yes he looks great....His is not a regular chocolate boy face but I guess somehow the DK enigma suits him so well that most of us are just not able to come out of it in spite of the mediocrity bordering on insanity that is dished out to us every day mon-fri at 8 PM IST...Watch out for his expressions in the dinner date with Dish last week. I felt that he looked bored with mouthing a few of those 'ghisa-pita' dialogues...but yes I loved the dialogue where he says that he can never love Dish as much as Dish loves him. He was quite correct and am happy that he at last understood that one. His angry wale scenes are always good and let me rest at that. In the case of Dish I think it was normal. Nothing was out of place....it was not too good nor too bad....(except for the polka dot blouses...which I guess I have repeated so very often). Rest all supporting characters gave able support.....

Before I list out happenenings of last week..I will have to say I gave a miss to some of the episodes and have reconstructed the scenes based on some of the excellent updates...Let me once again take this opportunity to thank vidya, jingle and twine for continuing to provide excellent updates and let me confess their updates are far more interesting than the actual episodes....

Scene of the week :- Dinner date of Dish and DK. Happening of the week :- At last the actual marriage of the Ds Nose cut:- Of the trio at Bhonsle house when they come to know that Dish is married to DK. Weird :- Is it black magic, voodoo next in TD now ? Drama:- Final scene when DK saves Dish from the falling knight Same old story:- How long with Ved, Gargi and Rano plot DK and Dish's downfall ?
• Long forgotten:- Anil kaka. Where is he ? Busy with Sai baba shooting ?

Of course somethings never change like

Am still going to watch TD whenever I can. It had become a routine. Read updates everyday.
• Continue to remain hooked to Td @IF.

TD wont change it will be only misunderstandings between the 2D's the same principle is going to work for these Guhas soooo foolish of these producers.If they want to seperate them once again why do they reunite? really no meaning in it .If they get seperated then their love towards each other is not strong.Im tired in watching TD.I sometimes skip the serial n i will be very happy

Swathi, it's good to read your take after a long time! I have lost all faith in the makers of TD. They have ruined this show completely 😡 We were waiting for the union of two Ds for a while now...but when it did take place, it was sooo cheap. I share Lata's sentiments that we were cheated.

😆.......accepting sudhachandran in positive role is something which can never do and regarding the sister issue .it was twine who told me over the phone wehn i told her about sudha chandran entry she told me "now 2 tele evils are sisters" and sudha chandran -vasundra will be a python!!!!!!!!!

Good to see you back Swathi with your takes. You are right, our 3 regular updaters are doing an excellent job in updating, they add extra spice & fun to a dull n boring TD episode. They are like life savers👏, I recall their witty comments while watching an episode & just crack up😆

Welcome back Swathi! I definntley agree with you whatever happens Guhas will never change, first after all these years Guhas finally decides that the seperation of Disha and DK has gone on too long so why not cut it short by getting them married. It never changes though she has still decided to continue the seperation even after marriage. The rumor about Vasundra being a good character 😕 why did Guhas change so quickly; wasn't vasu suppose to help the two D's think Guhas is confused.Sometimes I wonder does she want the Trp's to go up or down. Her sins are so boring sometimes that I wonder why she is a producer; nor does she deserve that title and neither has she done a gr8 job of TD. Finally I think Guhas wanted to ruin TD entirley and until she doesn't do that she won't be glad! Maheka- Black magic to be honest I find that pretty insane, to add a twist why not? according to Guhas everything that helps add a twist is normal! DK is acting mad and letting Mahi in the house why? has he also lost his brain.

Swathi, its been a while since we got to read one of your takes! Its refreshing to read your take again. I agree with you that TD has lost all its charm. If it wasn't for Jings, Twine and Vidya's updates, I'd never even follow TD anymore. The comments in their updates make me laugh even when I watch the show a month later (only if I have nothing better to do that is 😆).

As Lata di said, we all feel cheated with the reunion of Ds. We had been waiting for their reunion since the show started & in this case, it wasn't anything like "sabr ka phal mittha"
