Boney Kapoor is apparently thinking of a new name for his upcoming film, Wanted: Dead of Alive, starring Salman Khan says a unit source.
"For all this time it has been called Wanted: Dead or Alive but now there is a buzz around the set that he wants to change the name to something else. They have been having meetings and discussions over it. But nothing has been finalized yet," says our source.
But why call it Wanted… and now change it?
"We don't really know what has prompted this. Maybe some astrological reason… Before No Entry, Boney was in a very bad financial condition but now things are looking up for him. In addition, he is also working on the post production of his other film with Bebo and Shahid which had been shelved for so long," he says.
It is believed that with all the rave reviews Sallu received for his dancing in Partner, he is moving on to match steps with a still better dancer – Prabhudeva in the upcoming film.
"Prabhudeva is directing the film and his brother is the official choreographer of the film. But Prabhudeva will definitely be making an appearance in one of the songs. The man is known for his amazing dance and it only makes sense for him to dance in his own film too and yes he will be joined by Salmanbhai," says the source.
The filming of the movie has taken place in Bangkok, Mumbai, Chennai and with the recent schedule in Hyderabad also completed, the shooting is over.
Wanted Dead or Alive is a remake of the Telugu hit Pokhiri, which revolves around an undercover cop who works for a mafia don. Prabhu Deva, who directed the original, is directing the Hindi version too while Boney Kapoor will be producing it. It stars Ayesha Takia as the female lead while Aseem Merchant features in a negative role.
