Okay, let me make it clear this is purely a fangirling post. Though these thoughts are on my mind for quite a time now, I couldn't resist pouring them out after last night episode. These two really deserve one post for all the amazing things they do on Ishqbaaz.
First thing, how gorgeous both looked yesterday, specially Surbhi, I couldn't take off my eyes from her Does the director really make them to wear this color coordinating clothes or its just a coincident, specially with pink shirt of Shivaay.
What makes the pure delight to watch this two is both are amazing performers. CVs can sketch a character but bringing it to life with conviction is on actors, these two do it really good. Special mention to Nakul's change of expressions in millisecond specially when Shivay is with Anika. Last night episode when Anika goes on and on about how she can make any things to work, for a second Shivay gets lost in her, has a admiring smile, immidiately he has a mocking smile and immidiately a irritating expression before holding on to the magazine. I had loved his acting in the scene just before Anika taking away chaand from his wrist watch, that fumbling, kya cheese I don't like cheese 😆, he had so many expressions running on his face within few seconds. Even the scene after they get up from accidental fall on bed, such a convincing portrayal of awkwardness.
Surbhi's whole face speaks in sync with the tongue 😆 What I love the most with her she doesn't go OTT inspite of playing a character like Anika, where it's real easy to go OTT. She balances it out so so well, very natural, I hardly feel she is acting. I admired her as Haya in QH, her expressions spoke there as she was mute, but here she takes it one notch higher given the character Anika is blabber mouth plus feiry.
Had always liked Surbhi but now absolutely love her. This is my first time to watch Nakul he has earned a fan in me. Would like to make a post on Lineesh and Neha, but will wait for sometime as I did for Nakul abd Surbhi. They both compliment each other well, there is good chemistry. Yesterday's episode gave me some real feel good family vibes with these four in the frame, like bade bhaiya and babhi sorting out younger couples strain. I could relate to it totally from my personal experience.
