Why was madari given poor reviews

I recently saw madari and was pleasantly surprised. Bollywood which has been churning out cliches in the form of cinema in the recent past made a decent movie . Acting was exceptional be it irrfan , tushal dalvi , jimmy shergill or the kid .

So the critics who were blown away by fan or sultaan. (Yes it was one of the most cliched and flawed storylines ) were finding faults , is it because they try to influence the viewer with the amount of money they get from producers or is it that they are so out of touch from reality that they cannot think staraight .

of course its money...money speaks

today I was watching a show where komal mehta gives his reviews, he was praising Dishoom to the skies saying the movie was this and that ...pretty sure he was given money. He even found the lyrics to the songs very apt and suitable ...

Komal Mehta is such a fool, he was giving a brilliant movie like Raman Raghav 2.0 bad reviews, he is someone only concerned with BO numbers.

Most of the reviewers gave poor reviews not just Softly Bathing. I dont think viewers gave the movie a chance after that.

A combination of money (received for movies from stars) and also fear of being considered irrelevant and out of touch with the viewers' likes.

Replace Irrfan with Salman and Aamir, and Madaari would have got fantastic reviews, including recognition for the same role by Shergill and the kid.

Tell me about it. Anu Chopra's eyes got moist watching Lallu's Sultan.

These BW journalists are all urban-poors. Salary milte hi mid level brands ke clothes pe kharch karte hai, shaadi se pehle hi 2BHK apartment kharid lete hai... gaddi bhi.. in sab ke paise kaun bharenge? Kaha se aate hai paise?

Kya Vidu Vinod bankrupt ho gaya hai, woh HW movie bana ke?

The movie was simply amazing and cannot believe the critics did not have good to say about Madaari.

Critics did not want more people to flock to watch Madaari instead of Sultaan and so may be gave negative reviews.

The multiplex I watched at was houseful for Madaari on a Sunday and there was crowd of all age ranges with more of a young crowd. Not everybody relies on these paid critics.
