Anyone else annoyed with Soumya in O-mansion?

Hey, guys 😊

I was curious if anyone else is as frustrated as I am with Soumya entering the Oberoi mansion? Don't get me wrong, Rumya's story was actually the one love story I had been somewhat excited about, but they are ruining it for me big time, now 😕 I mean, what was the need to bring her into the mansion? To increase her screen space? Please. And to top it off, she gets Rudra's room which is totally illogical - she could have shared Priyanka's if the guest rooms are oh-so isolated. Talk about forcing the love angle on us!

I had been hoping for their story to progress in college, them becoming friends there, Rudra realizing his foolishness with some indirect help of ShivKara and the Love Angel, maybe falling for his Love Angel before knowing that it's actually Soumya. But now, he will be confronted with her 24*7 and will be forced to change his mindset this way, probably with some input of everyone around - what, he couldn't have realized what a nice girl Soumya is without having her in front of him all day long? That's just sad.

What's next? Ishana entering the mansion temporarily, as well, by feeding Om some dard-naak kahaani? It's apparently easy to enter the lives of the Oberois... and you'd think that being constantly under Shivaay's nose might be more dangerous for Ishana. What's the problem in letting their stories progress outside of the Oberoi mansion? With a little bit of effort, we could have gotten some nice stories for these two pairs, but no- take the easy way out.

We've had a lack of good Obros' scene as of late, anyway. Anika to pehle hi thi, now two more and less of the brothers... the house had been their haven but not anymore, it seems. I can already see them disturbing kitchen scenes and emotional moments 🥱 And I had been hoping they wouldn't force the girls on everything Obros, but there you go.

Sorry if I have offended anyone, that wasn't my intention. Am just pretty frustrated with this progress of the so called love stories. I will be a little mollified if we get good OmRu today (due to chopper blast) and ShivRu now that they share a room, lol. But not by much, and I fear Anika and her guilt will get more space and probably Soumya comforting Dadi and whomever else. Now, if instead of leaving the mansion soon, as Dadi said she would, Soumya ends up married to Rudra - urgh. They are just in college! *sigh*

It's turning into Full House, it seems.

Hi Amina,

No you're not alone. I'm equally annoyed with Saumya landing in Oberoi Mansion. Didn't Dadi say that her friend's granddaughter have no place to live. So where was she staying when she met Rudra in the hospital and said that her mother (or Aunt ) is a nurse there. CVs need to understand that we viewers don't forget things that easily the way they do. Saumya also mentioned that her part time job is RJ. Now we come to know that she don't have a place to live. What exactly do the CVs want us to believe.

I wanted a college types love story for them not a love-hate relationship again. Isn't ShivIka already enough for that. Now the excuse dadi gave to keep Saumya in Rudra's room is beyond my understanding.

I'm pretty sure after a few episodes we'll get to see Bela in the mansion too. CVs please stop ruining the stories already. Coming to Anika, it really bothers me when she stalks the bro moments like when ShivKara and Dadi were talking after Rudra getting shot, she was eavesdropping. It's a basic manners to give privacy to others.

Coming to the chopper crash, I'm expecting Om and Rudra to be most worried for Shivaay cause they love him THE most. I hope we won't get others being given more screen space today.

No you are not only the one who is not liking the development add me too.

Rumya was the only story am excited to watch when comes to romance but they are ruining it big time.

Can't they proceed with college drama and rudra falling for RJ soumya like story.

Already we have Anika now soumya next who ishaana.

Oh don't remind me of that dardwala dialogue when ever he says that I saw dard feel like going to my TV and say please Om don't repeat the same dialogue it's giving me headache now.

They should stop forcing the love stories on us.

PS: This is completely my pov if anyone feel offended it's not my problem

Im not too disappointed with it.. i think it was needed to make her interact with the other characters besides Rudra. I think we can get some nice moments between omkara and her as well as shivaay and her... in addition it will help her and rudra to understand and bond. Im sure the story will take place in college as well but having her in the house gives her character more scope

The problem is, they haven't even developed her or Ishana, yet. We hardly know Soumya. Who is she? What's her family like? Why did she move to Mumbai? The character has not even been established properly yet, it's already important she interacts with the Oberois? Yes, at one point it would have been necessary, but I don't see the need as of yet. Anika and Shivaay had interacted with each other a lot before she entered the mansion (the reason...) - why couldn't we have proper interactions between Rumya, as well?

They are just rushing it, imho. And it just feels as if they want to force all the girl on everything Oberoi and Obros, which is not needed.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree 😳 Thanks for you input, though! 😊

Amina I completely agree with you. I was so deeply rooting for RuMya but sab raita phaila dia.I so wanted Rudra to fall in love with love angel and their story progressing in college.Plus I really wanted Rudra to realise his mistake all by himself but looks like it won't be happening.We are already not getting screen space for Obbros scene now with so many characters enetring ib oberoi mansion i hope thhey don't interrupt the Obbro moment.I even wanted Ishkara to start outside the oberoi mansion.All three leads in oberoi mansion,that wasn't required.I seriously do not want the Female leads to destroy the Obbro moments.

Ps- I had so many hope for RuMya 😭

This story is about ObBros and so the main focus should be on them. The moment you have all the girls landing in the Mansion the cv's will have them interfering everywhere.

Let the individual love stories develop without unnecessary advice and bhashans from mahaan FL's. We have that in every other show. At least here let the boys hog the limelight.

Let Ishkara and RuMya develop away from the glare of everyone else. At the end of each day the boys need something to share with each other na? ...Whats the fun if everyone stalks everyone else?😆 ( taking turns to do the commentry 😆 ..OmRu style)

PS: The story is just a month old.If we have everyone interact with everyone else what will be left with later. There is fun in things unfolding slow and steady.

Yes, I had been a little annoyed with Anika watching the ShivKara moment, too. I get it, she needs to see Shivaay's brother-side but that could have happened if they had handled the whole shooting properly...

@bold: Exactly! Shooting they ruined for us, at least don't ruin this. Anika can feel guilty and be worried, sure. Soumya can comfort Dadi, sure. But the majority of screen space should be given to OmRu today. They love Shivaay the most, they are most dependent on Shivaay.

Edit: Btw, Dadi said Soumya's mom got shifted... don't know why and where to and why Soumya couldn't stay in their home... Doesn't make sense.
