Salman Khans : sting operation

Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court on Monday acquitted Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the 18-year-old blackbuck and chinkara poaching cases.

Two days after the acquittal, main witness Harish Dulani, who was reported to be "missing", maintained that he was not absconding but was only under fear due to threats. He claimed that the actor had killed the animals.

Now, in a big disclosure, Dulani's lawyer Ashok Parihar has claimed that he(Dulani) had entered a deal with Salman Khan's lawyer Hastimal Saraswat. In a sting operation, the lawyer claimed that Dulani accepted money to change statements and he had even bought two plots with the money.

Ashok Parihar made these claims on hidden camera. He didn't know that ABP News was recording his claims. ABP News can't however verify that such a deal actually took place.

The sting operation had three main characters

Harish Dulani

Harish Dulani is the main witness in the case. He was driving the Gypsy in which Salman Khan was allegedly travelling. He had given statements against Salman Khan. He had testified under section 164 and then disappeared.

Ashok Parihar

Ashok Parihar is Harish Dulani's former lawyer.

Hastimal Saraswat

Hastimal Saraswat is Salman Khan's counsel in all four cases related with the killing of Chinkara and Black Buck. Saraswat has been practicing in Jodhpur high court since 1978.

Hastimal says he never went to meet Salman Khan at his Mumbai residence. Though, Salman had invited him to his sister's wedding.

Ashok Parihar, first made sure that ABP News camera was off. When he was assured that the camera was not working, he said Salman Khan's lawyer Hastimal had come to his house to negotiate a deal. He wanted Dulani to change his statement

According to Parihar, Dulani then went straight to Hastimal and entered the deal. ABP News doesn't know whether the deal was made or not, but Parihar claimed that Dulani bought two plots with the money.

Parihar claimed on hidden camera that Salman's father Salim Khan had also met Dulani.

Salim Khan has refused to react to the sting operation.
