Hey guys!!
I am an addict to CHA, I love the characters, and their representation in the story so far. Each of them is unique in their own way, which is what makes the show so much fun to watch.
I found Thursday's episode heartbreaking and decided that I couldn't wait an entire weekend without thinking about all the possible things that could happen and wrote it down on paper.
I have only written FFs for Jai and Bani before as they are my all time favorite couple but I decided that Sam and Abhi are too cute not to think about… so here is my first attempt (and probably first post) in the CHA forum.
Hope you all like it!
Sameera looked at herself in the mirror and felt the same feelings run through her as she had felt when she was about to fly a plane for the first time. The excitement mixed with the love she had always felt for the sky, for her country, she now felt for a man who was just a stranger for her a month earlier.
She put the pink earrings on and heard Tanvi come through the door. Sameera smiled fondly at Tanvi, they had become best of friends in the last few days, especially with the fact that Tanvi could read Sameera better then Sameera could read herself.
"Wow, someone is dressing to impress today," Tanvi grabbed Sameera by her shoulders and swung her around, "everything is set. Go and tell him exactly what you feel."
"How? What do I tell him Tanvi?" Sameera felt breathless.
"Practice saying it to me, tell me exactly what you feel." Tanvi pretended to fix her fake collar.
Sameera laughed, "I can't do this to you."
"Fine, tell me what you feel right now?" Tanvi made Sameera sit down on the bed.
"I don't know. You know when someone comes into you dreams and refuses to go away… what do you call that kind of relationship? When you close your eyes and only see that one person and when you open your eyes you only wish to see him, what do you call that kind of relationship? When the room is dark, but it still seems as if your entire world is filled with lights because of that one person, what do you call that type of relationship?"
"Oh my God, and you are asking me what to say to him? Tell him that, he can't dare to turn away from that." Tanvi handed Sameera a little ganesh ji ki murti, "My mother said, always do something good with them in your hand. Go Sameera, tell your feelings."
"Thanks Tanvi," Sameera put the idol of Ganesh Ji to her heart and prayed silently.
She walked out into the party and found everyone to be surrounded a table and just talking. The first person she saw in the crowd was Abhimanyu who turned at almost the same time to look at her.
He saw Sameera and felt an instant, involuntary smile come across his face. He got up from the chair he was on and started to walk towards her and Sameera did the same. He was five steps away from her, when his conscience stopped him and he realized what he was about to do. He was about to go and forget all about his past and instead tell his feelings to Sameera.
Abhi stopped himself and looked around to find anyone to talk to and luckily found Farhan teasing Isha.
"Arre Farhan, kabhi to Isha ko ek chota sa break dede. Hamesha line marta rehta hai, learn when the time is right. And right now is definitely not the time." Abhi winked at Isha.
"Yes Farhan learn from the master, only God knows how many women this man has charmed, hasn't been able to get his hands on me either. I don't go for losers like you two." Isha flicked her hair in pride.
Abhi took Isha's hands and kissed it softly, "Trust me honey, if I wanted to take you into my arms, you would be here already, but I can't betray Farhan like that."
Abhi made sure Sameera saw that since he wanted her to get the hint. Sameera saw that and felt a tug of jealousy pull at her. She turned around and decided not to tell Abhi anything, after all he was the guy he should make the first move. \
But fate had a different plan. Tanvi had known that Sameera would chicken out so she had already asked the DJ to play a music and chose them to dance together.
"Ladies and Gentleman, it is time for everyone to hit the floor. Our lucky couple to be in the spotlight for tonight are Sameera and Abhimanyu. Please make your way to the dance floor." The DJ winked at Tanvi.
Sameera frowned at Tanvi, knowing this was probably her mischief. Abhi on the other hand had no idea on how to avoid this situation. He made his way to the center where Sameera was now standing.
Abhi extended his hand, and Sameera smiled as she grabbed it. The song played in the background but they were too lost into each other's eyes to notice.
When the song ended, the noise of the claps finally took Abhi back into reality. He knew that this had to end, Sameera had to face the truth, that Abhi could never be hers.
"Abhi, how are you?" Sameera asked Abhi as they walked away from the dance floor.
"Good, are you feeling better?" Abhi looked around to find a way to get out of the conversation.
"Yes a lot. You know what I was thinking… that a month ago, we hadn't even met each other, and then we hated each other and now..." Sameera wanted Abhi to be facing her when she said her feelings so she put her hand on his shoulder to make him turn.
Abhi turned and saw Shika coming his way, he needed to have Shika come to him before Sameera told her feelings because then she would be embarrassed.
Abhi extended his arms out and Sameera smiled thinking it was for her, before she could take the step forward and get into them, a girl enclosed Abhi into her arms.
"Shika," Abhi saw Sameera's face and wanted to kill himself for doing this to her.
Sameera stood there in shock for a minute or two and then took a slight step back and stepped on something sharp and almost tripped.
Abhi was about to reach out and help when he realized that he was still in the hug with Shika.
Sameera felt the pain, but it was nothing compared to what she was feeling in her heart. Involuntarily a tear dropped from her eyes and she couldn't do anything to stop it. But that was all, just one tear.
Samrat saw that Sameera was bleeding and rushed to help her, "Have you lost it woman? Look at your leg!"
Sameera for the first time noticed how big the cut in her leg was. Samrat took out the handkerchief in his pocket and tied it tightly around Sameera's leg, "Let's go you need to see a doctor."
"No, I am fine," Sameera shrugged Samrat off.
"Sameera, don't be stupid, it's a cut with a metal. Let's go," Samrat took Sameera by her hands.
"NO, I AM FINE!" Sameera screamed, causing everyone to look at them. It wasn't even about the cut anymore, Sameera just needed to get away.
Sameera looked at the gift she had gotten for Abhi and instead threw it into the garbage can on her way out.
Abhi excused himself from Shika for one moment and looked in the garbage and took out the gift. He unwrapped it and found a snow globe with two people in it and thought to himself, "I wish this wasn't fake Sameera, but we have to face reality."
Sameera got into her car and drove home and went straight into her mom's arms and cried her eyes out. Anu knew her daughter very well to know it must be something big that was making her cry like this. She just consoled her daughter and decided not to ask any questions until she told them herself.
Sameera finally ended up crying herself to sleep and Anu didn't know what else to do except call Sameera's best friend, Samrat.
"Samrat beta, sorry for calling you this late." Anu knew that Samrat and Sameera shared a great relationship.
"Don't worry aunty, is everything okay?" Samrat put his shirt on as he got out of bed.
"I was just wondering did something happen at the party? Sameera came in crying and didn't stop for a long time. Is everything okay?" Anu wiped the tears on her own face.
Samrat had noticed that something was off but he didn't think it was this bad, "Nothing happened, at least nothing that I know of… but don't worry she is now my responsibility, you won't see the tears again."
"Thank You beta," Anu hung up the phone and went and slept next to her daughter.
Samrat pondered over what could have happened and wondered if Abhi would know anything about it. He decided to go over to Abhi's house and see if he had any idea what was going through Sameera's head.
