PART : 1'May I come in sir?',she knocked and soon made her way into the cabin.
The civil old man, in his mid fifties, exactly knew who the person was and why was she here. 'Yes Khushi', he politely said.
Khushi reached to his table. He could see a white envelope in her hands, which was fisted in not so good a manner.
'Sir... I know I am just a mere employee. But I guess I do have a right to know why I am being suddenly transferred to other company without even as mere a notice.', she tried to maintain the calm in her voice, though she failed miserably.
'Khushi. Calm down. First please take a seat here and hear me out.', the boss said politely.
'Sir I am good this way. I shouldnt be speaking this way but please dont beat around the bush. So yes... why this?', she raised the white envelope to him.
'Ok then. I am sorry khushi but you will have to move to AR.. post remains same - Senior accountant. And that in your hand, is your official transfer letter.', he said with a hint of helplessness in his voice. He was sure he heard a deep sigh.
'And the reason? I am sure I haven't done any mistake or anything which leads to my transfer. So unless I hear a valid reason, I can't accept it.'
'I thought I was the boss here.'
' Iam sorry sir but you know better.'
'Khushi, I tried my best trust me. But now its not just you in the picture. I would have even passed your resignation than sending you there, but HE is the boss Khushi. This company here is just one of the many branches he owns. He has warned me, if I dont transfer you there, he's going to fire each and every employee here. Including me. And wait, I'll still be fine being jobless, but what about other employees like you Khushi. I have no say in this matter anymore.', his head dropped sadly as he completed his words.
She didnt know what to say anymore. A wave of disgust could be seen coursing through her, for the man in question. 'How can he?',she murmured aloud and then soon completed in her mind 'ofcourse he can. What else can be expected from him?"
'You'll have to join there tomorrow itself Khushi. Here's your new appointment letter.', he passed on the document to her.
'Hmm. I would like to go meet him before I join there.', she said with an indifference before rushing out of the cabin.
The old boss sighed.
*****
A young man seated on his royal leather office chair, typed furiously in his laptop. While the world witnessed his outer personality which spoke volumes of the charms and confidence he hands down owned, his inner demons and storms were known only to him. Or maybe a few more people?
'ASR, I dont think its a good decision.', came a sugar-dipped calm voice of a woman, seated right in front of him, her hawk eyes gawking at the man in immense admiration and desire, taking in every ounce of him.
'What YOU think or believe doesn't matter. What I do, does.', his eyes still on screen, he spoke in a low voice, the iciness of it making the desired effects he wanted.
The woman wasnt even offended, for she was used to the indifference the man had for her. But she knew better. She loved him, she desired him. And she could go to any lengths for having him by her side. Her confidence didnt waver a bit as she had already done many deeds in the past for making things go in her favour. Her wickedness and ugly confidence only boosted.
'I know ASR. But I'd still say its not a good decision. I cannot see you in any pain and SHE brings exactly that, to you.',her voice was laced with concern.
'I know Lavanya. But you're forgetting one thing. No one messes up with ASR. And she has done exactly that. Sometimes I wonder why did I waste so much of time sparing her. But no more now, she needs to pay for what she's done. No one lives in peace after destroying mine.', he spoke so dangerously, even Lavanya was scared.
But ofcourse, this immense hatred and fury of ASR against that woman, meant extreme happiness to her. This is exactly what she wanted. Yet, in the corner of her heart, a fear settled forever. The fear of getting unmasked if ASR ever came to know what all she'd done. That, it was her who had actually snatched away and destroyed his peace of mind. But she soon pushed those thoughts aside.
'If that's the case ASR, I am with you. I'll make sure she pays for every single pang of pain you've gone through.', she placed her right palm on his, only to see him backing off his hand right then and there. She fumed on the inside, but she knew one day he would be hers. And for that, she'll wait.

An hour later. (that is, 11am)
'Can I meet the MD of this company?', though the woman speaking this would want it to be the last thing in her life to meet him, but nevertheless, circumstances were such.
She was here in this place after so long. The old familiar air breezed past her, and she didn't know whether to feel good or bad about it.
'Do you have an appointment... erm Miss?', the secretary gave her a head-to-toe lookover and seemed disinterested. 'Must be one of sir's flings...huh!', she mused within.
'Neither do I have it.. nor do I need it. And you dont need to know me. Just tell me where is his cabin!', her voice beginning to grow agitated, she fisted her palm to calm herself down.
'Oh.. then I am sorry to say you cant meet sir.',the secretary wasn't liking the attitude of the woman one bit.
'Great. We are done then.', she turned around and moved her way inside the office. She'll make it to him herself.
'Nooo you can't go like that. You've no idea what consequences you will face for disturbing our sir like this. Don't you have any manners!!', the secretary ran to the woman and held her hand before she went further.
'Let.go.of.my.hand.', the woman spoke in a dangerously calm voice, while the secretary was shocked for a few seconds, since this level of silent anger resembled to the very familiar...the infamous anger of her boss. But soon she was back to reality.
'I am sorry but you can't. And I am afraid I'll have to call security if you dont comply.', the secretary didnt want to lose her job in case her boss got angry, so she was trying her best.
The woman took a deep breathe in and out to expel her anger and annoyance. 'Ofcourse she's just doing her work.', she thought about the employee.
'See I know you dont know me. And that I dont have an appointment. But can you trust me for once? If you are worried about your job, then you dont have to because you wont be fired. Take it from me.', she tried to sound as normal as possible.
The secretary got into thoughts and that's when Khushi turned around and rushed quickly to HIS cabin. The secretary ran behind.

'Here's the file you wanted ASR.', Lavanya handed over the file to him, touching his hand in the process, deliberately. He immediately shot a raging glare at her to which she backed off almost instantly.
'You may leave now.', he spoke in a stern voice.
As soon as she turned around to leave, the cabin door opened and in came a woman, in a maddening rush.
Lavanya's eyes widened coming face to face with the person she so loathed, while the other twolooked into each others' eyes with an entirely other-worldly emotion. A emotion which was indescribable.
