Maybe a long post.
Most likely a long post. ;)
Okay, so firstly, I absolutely do not condone any of the bullshit 'male abusing female' behaviour. Not at all.
So I'm going to momentarily think that these things haven't happened and just arguments and all have happened between Shivaay & Anika, or else I won't even be able to pen-err, type down my ideas because of the feminist in me.
Okay, so tons and tons of arguments between them ? Yes. that's what we're working with here.
Now, I was watching a VN -again- when a thought came to me about these two.
Like, we all know that one thing both of them have in common is intensity. Whether in hatred for each other, or love for their families. Their intensities are unmatchable, yet in sync with each other's.
Now, Shivaay is currently being an asshole, ofc, but when all this dumb shit stops, I wonder if everyone realizes just how much the intensity of the love between them is going to be. We've seen the love for his brothers. We've seen the love for his Dadi. We even know that somewhere he also loves his entire family, and has a deep respect for his Badi Maa as well, it's just that that angle of his isn't going to be shown outrightly anytime soon.
Now when we've seen his intensity for the above mentioned, just imagine the honesty and realness that would be in his love for Anika. Obviously it's gonna take time. But somewhere while she's planning his wedding, he's going to see sides of her that are going to force him to look beyond her status, name and stature in society, and see Anika for Anika. And THAT, is going to something to see.
Now, Anika.
Anika's love for Sahil is incomparable. The love & appreciation for him that she has can probably never be the same towards anyone else. Because for her, Sahil was there when no one was. Ofc she's the adult, but in more ways than one, Sahil has always been a pillar of support for her, even if it's just with his cute little scenarios about his many 'first loves' or just to tell her to have faith, because 'God does listen, Didi. He's just a little hard of hearing.'
When Anika sees the good in Shivaay, that is -what I think at least- going to change her perspective massively. Because, obviously she has something for that Kanji Aakhon Waala Bagad Billa with his not at all bad looks, ;) , but when she sees his real heart, the one he lays on the ground in front of only his brothers, that's when she'll realize that pillars of strength come in different forms; brothers of own, and brothers of others. ;)
