So almost everyone has given their POV on Nia quitting here on IF and I thought I will give mine. I only can say if Nia doesn't confirm her quitting soon,it means it's true she is quitting and can't blame her cause most youngsters will not want to play a mummy's role.Anyway, silence does speak a thousand words.The recent news says that Ravi,Shruti Ulfat and Sanjay Swaraj will still be a part of the show.Well good for them but Sidni is the essence of the show and it was pretty evident when they won the best jodi at Zee Gold Awards.
There is another probability and I think the CV's are still finalising the future story track sans leap or with leap and they have told Nia to maintain silence until everything is finalised. Leaps are needed in long running shows and this 20 years leap is bound to happen someday or another if not today and I think neither Nia or Ravi will want to play parents to any adults and most probably they will quit too unless they intend to be Akshara-Naitik.
Nia has said many times that she is sometimes not satisfied with the way her character shapes up in the show but she has still been a part of it. I read a post on IF today and someone posted on dedication and yes I admit Nia and Ravi both have amazing dedication to their work and Nia will not throw her 2 years memory and hardwork she spent on JR just like that without any concrete reason so I trust her decisions.Whatever decisions she take she knows better. As far as JR is concerned, the only thing Nia as Roshni has been doing for the past 3 months is crying and crying and getting upset with Neil. It can be monotonous for an actor after a while to be doing the same thing over and over again. Karanvir Bohra had once said you have to constantly excite an actor to keep him going which I feel is true.Imagine if we are getting so annonyed, irritated and tired watching JR then don't you think Nia would be more worn out than us acting all this rhona dhona parts.
CV's, I know you read all our views and comments,so please come up with a better story with Nia in it because Season 2 is a disaster with the current track though I am loving Payal. She reminds me of DD with her shrewdness and manipulating character and she seems to be a big drama queen.As for me,I am done with JR for the time being until some confirmation comes and if Nia quits,I am done for good.I am actually echoing many people's voice and this is not my voice alone.You all have made a disaster of your own show by killing DD when you could have kept her as a recurring cast like Simmi and Raj and now don't make it worse by killing off Roshni.
