Loved Vrushika as Ishaana! Firstly the scene of her recuperating from the fright of the goons and the injury, felt terrible seeing her like that. One side the immediate need for such a big amount, her sister being in danger, her father going downhill. She's in a whirlwind and has nobody to support her, Vrushika nailed it.
Coming to the Ishkara conversation, and first real meeting, felt bad how Ishaana was trying to hide her injury. It was refreshing and really deep dialogues, appreciate the script/writing here. And how they were completing each other's sentences, the flow between the Omkara-Ishaana was nice. It really shows how he hides his pain with art/sculpting, and she hides her pain with bollywood fun/dance. First time saw such a depressed Ishaana, like to see that energetic smile, hope it really happens soon. Amazing performance by Vrushika.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of pain/angst filled love stories, in novels, shows, and movies. And after a long time we're getting to see that kind of story. Their backstories of con-girl artist aside, really looking forward to how their inner turmoil and pain connect them and brings them together to heal each other. Excited to see more of Vrushika's scenes and Ishkara track.
And have to mention some brilliant dialogues of Ishaana, really good writing. Hats off.
"Duniya ek local train ki tarah hai, always overcrowded. 6million log hai, but sab akele."
"Apno ka dil rakhne kiliye, dusro ka dil todna padta hai."
"Paisa kisiki majburi hoti hai, aur kisiki taakat." "Koi jhoot bol kar haasil karta hai, aur koi sach bol kar."
"Duniya koh chehra dikhta hai, dil nahi dikhta."
Omkara's dialogues:
"Zakhm sabko dikhte hai, dard kisiko nahi dikhta."
Super excited for Ishkara story!
