What was Dev trying to say ?

Yesterdays episode , when they were discussing abt factory issue , he said something like

I wondered the same thing. Last two episodes he is not completing his sentences.

Even I was confused for a moment.. But my guess would be that he was gonna say sirf aap se baat hi nai.. aapki advice/approval lena chahta tha.. like he said in yesterday's episode.. that he wants to take her approval in all matters but then stopped because he remembered his mother's words.. I think Ishwari's words have really unsettled him more than he lets on.. and he's in a dilemma coz he can't share this with Sonakshi as well, the one person with whom he can share anything, for the fear that she might get hurt by Ishwari's words..
