Hello fellow forumers 🤗
I'm pretty much non-existent on this forum and I love to read the posts on here about the show. Ishqbaaz, is pretty much a good show to watch but I know for a fact I've better show(s) on Indian television and American television.
I think Anika and Shivya's hate story is actually good. I know I may sound bizarre and weird but hate stories between the main leads actually appeal to my eye better than the stupid background sounds with hair flying and obnoxious random scenes that don't really exist in life.
I would finally say Gul and the writers understand that hate is only hate and takes a while to get permanently deleted from the mind and heart. None of the two (Anshi) like each other and it's good for them to stay like for a while ( I think personally). I've seen all 4 Lions Films shows ( Geet, IPK, QH) and they all started with main leads hating each other but also having certain feelings associated with that hate. I believe AnShi have good chemistry due to their hate.
I also feel like if this show was a series ( like Mahi's Way or 24 ) it would be so much better. Or only come once a week rather than coming everyday till it ends it too much crap put together with less content that is important for the story to move on. I think most of the episodes have been fillers and I also think AnShi should be a background story that should come later and the characters of Ishqbaaz ( the Oberio Brothers) should be the limelight, I know they are but then they are not. It's more like plot versus characters and honestly I don't know even know if the story is plot driven or character driven.
I also if Roop never came in the picture, it would be so much better. Svetlana and Shakti are more dark and villain types so that angle could be fulfilled. I like Ishana but her background story is lamer than ever. I don't know Soumya well but she's cute. Om and Rudra are funny to watch but we don't know much about Om (even though we think we do) and Rudra is just stereotyped as a player that is childish. I'm not gonna talk much about Pinky or Jhanvi, cause I don't know them either. Dadi is cute but never says anything.
Sorry for critiquing but in order to have a good show, it's important to lay down the facts and understand there are ways to actually close random loops and make it a better sensible show.
I hope no one gets offended and thinks I'm bashing any of the actors, 4 Lions Films and the show itself. I'm just giving an opinion.
