Why is Sona shown to be extra good and mature

Read a lot of posts pointing out that Sona has been shown to be extra good, extra mature.
But if we look closely without Sona being what she is the entire story will fall like a house of cards.

Dev and Ishwari both are highly immature individuals. Dev 'immaturity is evident from the way he is handling Ranveer . Instead of helping Neha he will end up marching her to a divorce court. He doesn't have the patience or maturity to tackle such a complicated situation. he wants everything his way within a day. Same was the case when he wanted to hire Sona.

He is also a bit too scared of Ishwari. Respecting your parent doesn't mean agreeing to every unreasonable thing they say or not having a view point of one's own. His always staying mum when GKB keeps on insulting Sona is another indication of his nature of constantly appeasing his mother even at the cost of what is just and right. He is literally obsessed with making up for what his mother lost.

Ishwari is an expert at advising others but when it comes to Dev she behaves like a small child with a favourite toy. I will not share - is her motto. She does not even realise that her son is now a grown up man with tangible physical needs. She is more than willing to ignore her sons needs. She wants her son to stay happy but only at her terms.

It's not Dev and Ishwari's fault but life has conditioned them this way. If on top of this Sona was not shown having ultra maturity, goodness and patience she would bolt within one week of marriage. We complain that they are not showing Sona a normal girl. But which normal girl would stay in marriage with a guy whose natal cord is as yet not cut. Add to it the insecurities and scars of both husband and MIL.

These are two difficult and wounded scarred individuals. So yes Sona has to have the healing touch to make them normal again.

Loved reading your post...😳😳

Right now, at this very point of the story, I only find Sona as the most sensible character.

The need of pleasing his near & dear ones is an in-built trait in Dev now. It's going to be difficult for him to let go of that. Even when Sona stated that he was interfering in Neha & Ranveer's lives, he still didn't get the point. That's because he's conditioned to think like that...Keep giving them & the rest will fall in place... Somehow, in yesterday's episode, when Ishwari explained to him, I felt he understood that whatever he was doing would end up destroying Neha's life...

Oh, don't get me started on Ishwari's gyan. She can never say anything in an upfront manner, it always has to be in her paheli's ... But her gyan can never be applicable to her & her son. For everyone else she has a long speech to offer... She loves the personalized control that she has over Dev. Her logic is simple- You're mine & nobody else's & I don't care how old I or you get.

I'm not sure if Dev is scared of his mother. I think he's worried about the fact of disappointing her. He's doesn't want anything to disappoint her & he should never be the reason for her disappointment as well...Oh, I always disliked the fact that he kept mum when GKB would unnecessarily insult Sona.

If on top of this Sona was not shown having ultra maturity, goodness and patience she would bolt within one week of marriage. WORD.

We complain that they are not showing Sona a normal girl. But which normal girl would stay in marriage with a guy whose natal cord is as yet not cut. 🤣 You had me in splits here, maybe because you bluntly stated the fact...this is so true!

They are such complex individuals that I don't want Sona to be their personal psychologist. I want them to sort their own issues on their own. And Ishwari without the support of Dev cannot change...Sona needs to understand that & I'm sure she will.

I like your thread... When I saw the title I thought "Oh not another mission envious thread against Sona" 😆 This girl sure must have been making many out there feel inferior about themselves!!! 😆
If you don't like it don't like it... as simple as that... say it and leave at that... Why keep itching till you worsen your own wounds!!! 🤪

Anyway coming to your thread. Just adding some more flavor to it! Hope you like it...

Dixit family (sans Nikki) are the lost souls living in sophistication under the possessed complication that they are not ready to let go!! They are looking for happiness living in luxury under the haunted moments of their past!!!🥺

They miss the maturity and wisdom that comes from keeping it simple and move on! It will help them not having the constant pressure to prove something... or the urge to keep defending themselves...

And they really need the less stressful and more happier life!!! If Sona can bring it all with her kind of goodness and understanding then why not they relish on it!! After all love and compassion are necessities not luxury🤗... And it's very much a basic human trait to survive!!! 😃

One can sure feel pity and just feel sorry for them and go away... But it really needs a compassion to do something about changing the state of each other when need be!!! And sure the levels of compassion vary from person to person!!! Sona is high on it! And there lies her real strength!!!👍🏼

I am glad Sona is the way she is ...Dixits are not a normal family ...they r loonies really ...someone very carefree, happy go lucky shall not be able to survive amongst them ...they need to be shown things in a different perspective ...be it Dev or Ishwari or Neha ...otherwise they just keep living a monotone life without feeling the need of a change !!!

In my view this is how I see Dev
as been the sole provider now for his family and giving them all the luxuries that they never had he thinks maybe Neha and Ranveer also deserves to have a luxury life , he does not disrespect Ranveer's financial status because Dev was even much more poorer than Ranveer its just that he feels as a brother he can give gifts to his sister and brother in law he did not look at it as if he is insulting or disrespecting Ranveer .

Dev loves his mum he respects her and he knows she has suffered a lot in her life so now all he wants to do is pamper his mum and that is also his right its not something that is forced on him no this care and concern that he has for his mother comes out naturally
Ishwari as any mother wants happiness for her son but now that he has found his happiness he does not wish to tell anyone at the moment so its fair on Ishwari's part to tell him not to include Sona in their personal matters

Radha Rani yes she always taunted Sona but Dev like any guy and son of the house does not get involve in women's matters he dislike it but he also respects his elders and I'm sure once he tells his family about his relation with Sona then perhaps he'll stand up for her if need be .

Thanks a lot 😳.

Fully agree with all you have said. Dev has been conditioned to keep everyone happy as a repayment for all that has been done for him. Ishwari has drummed into his head all the sacrifices she has done. Also lesser said about Ishwari's gyan the better. She is a complete hypocrite. Will keep on harping about the happiness in her marriage. Wants it for her daughters also. Only her son should not think about getting that happiness🤢

Thanks for liking the thread. Loved your analysis of the real situation of Dixit family. They are all living under a facade. Hope Sona helps them really understand themselves.

And yes people will keep on shouting from roof tops about female rights but show them a female who is modern yet sensible and feminine and they develop a problem. 😆 Why can't a modern woman be kind sensible compassionate and also feminine at the same time 😕

agree the Dixits need to understand that life can be lived in the present also without constantly mourning the past. They need to learn to let go

One should always respect ones elders but also understand that they are human and can be wrong. Just because your elder is doing something doesn't mean one has to agree to it.

In the case of Ranveer Dev is moving too fast. He should give time for the relationship to stabilise build trust and then try to help after taking Ranveer into confidence
