The question is how to make this forum active...Okey we are posting different topics..And I feel like Pyar ka Bukhaar everyone will slow down after some days.

My point is what if show is not running...But if we already know what happened...There were days when we were used to make topics on coming track...Discuss what happened..

If we can't guess what ll be next.We can make topics ...I mean serious topics or funny topics or by picking anything from plot...From the plot line to any character..

It ll really work on steady pace and keep forums active...

I was not aware about any mission like to reach 12000 three days back...I made a topic by own about Maan's memory lose track

Today I want to discuss Geet's Parents...Don you think they were spineless creatures...Who were not able to save own daughter..Okey women in house couldn't do anything...But what about Mohinder ..He showed he loved his daughter...But why he asked Geet to run away alone.

He never thought for a while if he couldn't stand in front of Daar Ji and Brij..How could an innocent 18 years old save herself...

He might have called police...He might have taken his family away from house. But he always kept mum..When Daari Ji ordered to finish Geet... He was ready to set whole house on fire...I think he was spineless...At least Brij and DaarJi were on their words...

But what about Geet's parents they just witnessed whole drama like silent spectators.

These kind of thins still happen in real life..But without any spice..I mean Geet's story is reality of life...I want to name no one in real life but very close one to me..Where father married her daughter under pressure of family..Families were known well...Reason : girl's age was going and she was not willing to marry then her father didn't listened and gave ultimatum to marry...Because her Chacha and paternal family were concerned with "Purkhon Ki Izzat "

She got married even her husband took that highly educated girl with him to foreign..But he started to trouble girl abusing her mentally and financially...Once who loved her father unconditionally. Even her father did everything for her...He went against her It really hurt her and she cursed him..

When her father came to know what was happening with their daughter..He realized his mistake and stood against every relations...He was back in India still he did everything to bring out his daughter from the clutch of that devil...Helping her financially when he was a from middle class and to send funds to foreign was not easy..Forced his daughter to come out of that relation..Even he himself regretted to her daughter why he did so..Said he was wrong..

No his daughter still trying to be on feet.But her relations are with her...He father asked her to marry she wants or if she wants to be single they are with her...

Plz don discuss the story I told I told it to match it with topic...Just tell me ur views about Geet's parents..What u think...

Yes!!! As a parent it was their duty to protect their child..
Tomorrow this society will never care for them..only their children will stand by them!!

Personally i feel they failed their duty as parents

Didn't like their coward behaviour

Q. was Geet their only child or was Tito their son too (watched it a number of times but never got the answer)

As a parents it's their duty to protect their child...but for me they failed on that duty ...forget rano mohinder too never voiced against the misbehavior ...

Great post. No one ever discussed about this topic.

First of all this is a fiction and makers are also bound with some restrictions. But in reality none of the parents bear this kind of treatment with their daughters. In real life this kind of torture by grandfather and cousins does not happen even in remote villages where people are not so educated. Parents always stand with their kids. At least I have not seen anything like this in my life. Even people having no money stand with their kids.

But GHSP was a fiction and to move story makers had to show something like this. At least my opinion is this. I don't know if I am too positive.

I never understand them... why did they not left hosiyaarpur with their daughter? ? How ... he send his daughter alone to a new city ... when he is aware about her daughter conservative upbringing. ... i am glad at least ... he contact with his old friend and geet got the help on right moment but its nothing if you starts to describe his responsibilities. .. why rano doesn't argued with Mohinder to go with geet ... gosh so true spinless creature

Of course they were spineless and coward also. When Geet's father asked her to run away in the middle of night alone I felt like he was escaping from his responsibility by sending her away. Rano all the time preaching Geet but never took a stand for her daughter. They never saved her from tortures. What would have Darji and Brij done if they would have taken a stand against them. They would not do anything.
