Looking forward for seeing her back onscreen.. As far as I know this has not been shown previous Ramayana.. Would be interesting to seexx

Ya , her role in Indrajit's defeat has never been highlited in any previous versinos

in ramanand sagar ramayan , urmila was shown lighting diyas but when shakti hit Lakshman , diyas were about 2 blow off with urmila protecting them

Had Urmila not gone to sleep, there'd have been scope for so many beautiful scenes during the Sanjeevani track, but since SKR used the nidra devi story, there's not much they can do.

At the most, they can show Urmila sleeping figure feel Lakshman's pain.

Yes you are correct , they showed that scene

But they never mentioned explicitly that it was due to her that lakshman obtained power to defeat indrajit😳

That it will. Oh, I do hope they show a nice scene that is not rushed.

There is a version out there that describes Urmila and Lakshman's reunion, following Urmila's nidra devi story.

Apparently, Urmila wakes up from her long sleep and is excited to meet her husband after 14 years. She bathes and readies herself, awaiting his arrival.

Meanwhile, Lakshman who has been on exile for 14 years, is covered with matted hair and long beard like that of a sage, and he looks quite gruesome without being properly groomed for so long. 😆 He enters Urmila's chamber with an eager step.

Urmila, who does not recognize him, thinks he is a stranger and rebukes him for entering her chamber in the absence of her husband.

Then Lakshman starts laughing and Urmila recognizes his laughter. She realizes it's Lakshman and falls at his feet for forgiveness. Both are overjoyed to see each other. ❤️

I would like to see something like this in SKR. It would be so different and unique.

Obviously our Lakshman won't have a long fearsome beard (he doesn't even have a stubble like Ram, lmao), but I'd love to see him enter Urmi's chamber and greet her when she opens her eyes.
