Hello!
I am new on this forum and wanted my first post to be a character analysis.
Dadi - A lady of morals and values yet very progressive. Her optimistism and hope that things shall fall in place is quite commendable. She is often correct in understanding ones personality which comes with great amount of experience. But yet the best part of her character is she isn't completely white washed her only flaw being trusting her children over and over again after understanding their true nature. Also one aspect which cannot be ignored is the fact that a mother would never imagine her children's sly nature. She is adorable and fabulous.
Tej - He might be a business tycoon and made it the way of his life but one thing which cannot be ignored is the fact that he knows what he does and doesn't veil himself with his true identity. The Grey aspects of him possibly might be his slick nature and dealing with people. He having a mistress is another aspect of it. But I don't want to draw conclusions about his relationship with his mistress for there may be a lot of reasons for such a behaviour. He somehow reminds me of Lord Baelish though the latter is incomparible. He has some shades of the Master of coin.
Jhanvi - She is my favorite character. She is dignified and smart. Most importantly she is a very sensitive woman whose priorities lie in happiness and happiness is being loved by someone the way you love them. She is understanding and is living in a dysfunctional relationship with a hope. She understands the importance of her relationship which is at the verge of extinction for her son's sanity .
Pinky - The official loudspeaker and self obsessed female. A gold digger. It takes a special upbringing to have such narrow mindset and attitude to hurt others using their weakness so obviously.
Shivay's father - well this man needs to stop pretending to himself atleast. He has a set of so called values and he cannot abide to it then what is the point of bringing them in and act helpless.Either one should stand up for their morals or atleast not rant about them. He is officially the mute spectator of the show.
Roop - The stereotypical Aunt of Gul's show who only bothers about her own kids and husband. The official brand ammbasdor of the most inhuman acts which await.
Swetlana - Reminds me of Tanveer. The lesser said about her the better.Extrajudicial killing of such characters would be a Great favour to the human race read audience.
SHIVAY - I wonder how does a writer make such characters the main lead. A man who needs serious anger management classes. A person with so called attitude and misogynistic behaviour. An imbecile who hasn't probably attended any social studies classes for he has no Idea what the Indian preamble reads about the basic rights of every citizen which others cannot breach irrespective of their socio economic status in a democracy. One needs to understand that someone else might As well share the same emotions for their family as you do and emotions don't change with economic status of a person. The respect he gives to others is purely based on the monetary benefits he gets from them. This character is a big nay for me. Nakul looks so forced and fake.
OMKARA- How can someone be so adorable? Calm, composed and well mannered. His eyes have a story to tell camouflaging thousand emotions. His innocent smile is worth a million bucks . A self made man, a successful sculpturer, a charmer, a warrior battling his trauma valiantly, a child craving for affection, a righteous person who fights and stands up for what is correct even if it takes fighting obstacles, a brother who owes his life to his elder brother.
I wonder how intensity and innocence, tranquility and disarray, jest and composure can coexist and parallel. How does he manage to have it all within? He would make an amazing lover for he is honest, loyal and sensitive. Completely smitten by this unique crystal with so many facets intricately etched and shining to glory. Both character and actor are so on point.
RUDRA -He is notorious and genuinely foolish at times. A child who is relatable for we have one such cousin who is a charmer yet would never grow up for years to come. Good at heart and reason for smile on everyone's face. The actor is doing complete justice to the character .
Anika - Another typical leading lady who is ready with her armor of self respect to fight all the worst possible obstacles which come only on her way. What I fail to understand is that how can a woman with self respect can stay without speaking up for her honour against the person who does something against her will? I can understand pleasure in pain but I can clearly see she is not yet in love with her hero. How can someone pick up cowdung on road and throw it on a car glass? Manners? Well lesser said the better. Is it not shoeing that middle class girls don't have manners? Too loud and unrealistic for my taste. The actress is fine only if the character was good.
Ishana - Too early to comment but a con girl is an interesting take. Waiting for her story to unfold. Vrushika is good but will have to wait to comment on her acting.
Priyanka - A timid girl with insecurities that come with the pressure of being a part of prestigious family in the need of some appreciation and freedom to lead a normal life.
Would like to see her more wish she had more screenspace.
The storyline is a mixture of mediocrity and a vibe of freshness. I wish we could get a lot of uniqueness.
PS: This post is to express my views and not to offend any fandom.
