PART 10
Ishra came out of the police station with everyone.Raman hugged his friends and thanked them to help him on time. They too hugged him and went to their places.his lawyers greeted Ishra and went.
Finally Ishra were going to ishita's home to drop her.she was unbelievably silent.Raman was worried for her. What if she became silent forever after this,no no he don't want that to happen.He want his jkr back.he was thinking ways to make her say something when rinky told ,my house is nearby .drop me here only .
Raman stopped his car and rinky went off waving them a bye.Raman thought its a good opportunity to talk to her.he was about to say something when ishita came near him and kept her head on his shoulder and close her eyes,a tear fell off her eyes.Raman stopped the car at once.
He look at her and asked cupping her face- kya hua ishita.now we r out of that jail.why r u crying now.u know u don't look good crying.u look good when u smile,laugh.mujhe gaali deti achchi lagti ho.rote hue nahi.
Ishita cried and hugged him tight saying-mujhe chupa lijiye khud mein.I don't wanna see anything.I don't wanna feel anything.I don't want to show my face to anyone.please hide me in urself.she said crying bitterly.
Raman felt immense pain hearing this.the girl who has the power the fight against all odd is now crying in his embrace. He hold her as tightly he can while she was crying her heart out in his arms wetting his shirt.
After sometime,her sobs lessen.Raman caressed her hair lovingly and said- why u don't wanna face the world.did u do anything wrong.no,u just saved a poor soul.then why u r ashamed.galat woh the,tum nahi.u don't have to hide in me.u have to face the world. And u will.
Ishita- I brought shame to appa,amma.now amma will cry and shout on me.she always use to tell me to behave like an iyer girl but I never listened.now everyone will put a question mark on my parent's upbringing.sab galat ho gaya Raman.sab appa amma ko bura bhala bolenge.vandu akka,bala jiju sabko meri wajah se baatein sunni padegi.I ruined everything.
Raman- aisa kuch nahi hoga.trust me,u r not wrong and those who can't see this,u don't have to worry about them.aaj bolenge kal chup ho jayenge.
Ishita look at him for assurance. He assure her by pressing her shoulder a little.she hugged him tight and said- thanks for be with me Raman.I can never return ur favour.
Raman smiled and said- of course u can.u know how, just by smiling a little.he said making her smile.
Raman kissed her temple and said- now that's like my girl.she smiled a little and snuggle into him.he wounded his arms around her and start driving with one free hand.soon they entered her society.ishita was scared to step out of the car but when raman hold her hand,she got courage and step out of the car.seeing her many ladies gathered around her.she hold his hand more tightly.
L1-what happened ishita.suna tum raat bhar jail mein thi.kya kiya tha tumne.
L2-dont bother her.see she is looking so worn out.bechari ko lagta hai maar padi hai.
Listening to this Ishita shivered in fear remembering that.
Raman- let us go.he said taking her inside.
L1- haan haan le jao.waise bhi we knew what happened. Jail mein reh kar aayi hai.ab kon thamega uska haath .
L2- haan lagta hai bechari hamesha akeli hi rahegi ab.
Ishita was crying hearing all the crap.she was about to ran inside but he didn't let her go.in fact he hold her hand more firmly and said- wahi thamega jisne abhi thama hua hai.aur rahi baat iske jail jaane ki toh who isliye gayi kyunki isne ek ladki ko bachaya. Aapki bhi beti hogi hi,aisa mat kijiye ki kal ko woh musibat mein ho toh koi uski madad bhi naa kare.saying so he took ishita to her house.
They entered the house only to see appa sitting in the hall all worried.seeing ishita appa ran to her and they hugged each other tight.ishita cried in his embrace .
Ishita- I am sorry appa. I bring shame to u naa.
Appa- nahi kanna,u r my pride.joh tumne kiya woh har koi nahi pata.I am so proud of u.
Ishita- amma kahan hai.
Appa- woh ander hai.
Ishita- kaisi hai.
Appa- thik hai.bp badh gaya hai.aaram kar rahi hai.jao mil lo.
Ishita ran to the room to see her amma.appa went to Raman and folded his hand.
Raman- what u r doing sir.
Appa- thanks for being with my ishu in her tough time.tum nahi hote toh main pata nahi kya kar pata akela.kaise sambhalta sab.thank u so much Raman.
Raman- I have to do this.no need for saying thanks.
Appa- aaj om hota toh kitna khush hota.his son is just like him.he said admiring Raman.
Raman look at him confused and asked-u know my papa.
Appa fumble with words, don't know what to say.he don't want to tell him that they were best friends and they have fixed their marriage in the childhood.appa thought Raman will think that he is pressuring him to marry Ishita. Knowing well Ishita is a spoilt brat.
Appa- yes I met him once .he was a gem.come meet amma.she will feel good meeting u.saying so he took Raman to their room.
Amma was hugging ishita tight and both were crying.
Appa- stop crying both of u.it was a bad phase and now its over.madhu see who come to meet u.
Amma look at Raman.
Raman- namaste aunty.mera naam Raman hai.
Amma look at appa with questioning eyes.he confirmed her saying he is the one.
Amma- aao kanna.baitho.
Raman sat beside her and asked- how r u aunty.
Amma- I am good.tum pehli baar ghar aaye ho.main coffee laati hoon.
Raman- no no its OK.I have to go home.saying so he was going when amma hold his hand and said- aise kaise.how can u go empty handed.saying so she get up slowly and went to her cupboard and was taking something out when appa stopped him saying- u relax madhu.Raman ab aata rahega.u rest,ishu u go to ur room and freshen up.
Ishita nodded and went to her room looking at Raman.he was also looking at her only.appa saw this and said- Raman if u want u can go and meet ishu before going .
He thanked appa and went to ishita's room.
Amma- why u stopped me to give him shagun.he came in our house for the first time.he is our would be son in law.
Appa- I want to know what he thinks about ishu before telling him anything .I don't want him to think that we r pressuring him in name of his father and giving our spoiled daughter to him.tum jaanti ho ishita bhi taiyaar nahi thi shaadi ke liye.
Amma- that was past now.today I can see love and respect for him in ishu's eyes.once the time she entered the room all she was talking was him.I think she started loving Raman.we should now talk to santoshi.
Appa- wait for sometime madhu.let ishu get better.she is now too scared.we shouldn't rush to do anything .
Amma- OK as u say.
Appa- I will personally talk to bhabhi.just wait for some days.
In ishra room,ishita was standing near the window and feeling the cool breeze when he hugged her from behind.she close her eyes feeling his touch. A tear fell off her eyes on his hand.
Raman make her turn and said- agar ek aur aansu gira,then I will be so angry that I will go and will never return.he said cupping her face.
Ishita hugged him tight and said- nahi,don't go leaving me alone .aap please kahin mat jaiye.yahin rahiye mere saath.
Raman smiled and said- bolo toh aaj hi apne ghar le chalun.maa se kahunga dekh maa teri bahu laaya hoon.badi danger hai ekdum jhansi ki raani.isse darr kar rehna.warna sit up karwati hai aur pledge bolwati hai.aur aapke bete ko khajur bhalla bulati hai.
Ishita smiled and said hiding her face in him- I use to call u.ab nahi bulati.
Raman- ohho someone is blushing.its a life time moment. Pata nahi phir kabhi sharmaogi bhi yaa nahi.ek pic toh banti hai.saying so he took out his phone and clicked a selfie hugging her tight.
Ishita- ab aap chale jayenge.
Raman- tum kaho toh naa jaun.tum chalo.
Ishita look down and said- no u go.
Raman- bhagaa rahi ho.
Ishita nodded in no .
Raman- OK then I should rest here only.aa jao.saying so he pulled her on bed.both fell on the bed.they were too close to each other,fingers entwined in each other's. Eyes locked with each other's.they were lost in the moment feeling goosebumps with the intimacy
Raman- ishita.
Ishita- hmm.
Raman- the thing u said there was true.
Ishita- which thing.
Raman- that u have fallen in love with me.
Ishita look down and nodded in yes.
Raman- will u marry me.
Ishita look at him and nodded in yes.Raman joined their foreheads and said- let's get married ishita.ab nahi jiya jaata tumhare bina.
