Chapter 5

Evening at the Oberoi's. Annika is doing the final decorations on the cake and making everything just right. Om comes and see the cake and compliments her work.

Anni: Thank you, actually pahalee baar I've made such a big cake that to in different types of flavours. I just hope is taste as good as it seems. She laughs

Om: Don't worry Annika I'm sure it's going to be amazing. *to himself he says who knows if the cake is going to be cut in the celebration of sangaee or not*

Anni: Kya... Did you say something?

Om: Nothing I was just saying when everyone see this cake they aren't going to be able to wait for the sangaee ki rasam to start they'll go right for the cake. He said with a smile

Anni: That's so sweet of you Omkara.

Annika looks at the time, it's almost 8:30.

Anni: Ajeeb hai, ab tak Sahil ka phone call didn't come.

She goes over to her bag and get her phone to see 3 missed calls from ghar. She gets worried and calls ghar, but no answers. She gets even more worried about Sahil. Seeing her tensed Omkara asks if everything is okay.

Anni: No, no one is answering my call at home. I'm really worried about my brother Sahil. He usually answers within the first two rings. I also had 3 missed calls from home. I just hope everything is alright.

Om: Don't worry I'm sure everything is fine. Maybe he's busying doing something.

Anni: Sahil isn't like that he always answers my calls.

Om: Accha, you're done with your work right? Then you should go home to your brother.

Anni: But I still have to clean up, it's going to take about half an hour at most.

Om: Don't worry our staff will clean this up. You should go and check on your brother.

Anni: Thank you so much Omkara.

She get her bag and reaches in to find her purse but it's nowhere to be found.

Anni: oh no, I think I forgot my purse at home. How will I go home now?

Om: I'll drop you off.

Anni: Are you sure?

Om: Yeah, you came all the way here for us that to last minute to make this cake and you worked the whole day on this. It's the least I can do.

Anni: Thank you, I really do appreciate it.

Omkara goes to get the keys to his car and Annika waits for him at the front. Om comes and they both head towards the car.

Shivaay in his room was walking up and down thinking about Rudra and Annika conversation. He was so surprised by her words that it was going over and over in his mind. "He's scared of falling in love.. He's scared of love... he's SCARED!!!!" NOOO he screamed. Why would I be scared of falling in love? I just don't believe in it. But why did she say that? Why does she think that I'm scared of falling in love? I have to ask her. He leaves his room and heads towards the kitchen. "Aap kaise kah sakate hain that..." says this as he enters the kitchen to find the workers cleaning. He looks around the kitchen to find Annika not there. He asks one of the worker where Annika was and they had mention she left once she was done. This makes him mad, how can she leave without letting him know? After all he's the one who brought her here. As he was leaving he saw the cake. It was beautiful. Simply but classy. Which brought a small smile to his face.

As Shivaay continues to smile Rudra walks and catches Shivaay smiling. Wonders brought a smile to his bhaiya's face.

R: Bhaiya what are you looking at that brought a smile to your face?

This makes Shivaay jerk and turns to see Rudra by the door looking at him.

Shiv: Actually... the cake. It looks very good. Simply and nice.

R: Haan bhai, the cake does look good. By the way where's didi? Did she leave already?

On the other side Annika is tell Om which colony she lives in. But tells him to drop her outside the colony since it would be hard for him to get the car out of the there afterwards. He drops her off outside and she thanks him and heads inside and Om also heads back home.

Back to the Oberoi Manison

Shiv: What do you mean she already left? Weren't you with her the whole time?

R: No bhai, after you came and told her to focus on her work and left. I also left because I didn't want you to yell at her again because of me.

Shiv: haan, that's fine at least jaane se pahale she could have told you or someone for that matter. This ladki is so complicated.

R: Bhai relax, maybe she had to go somewhere urgent.

As they were talking Om comes back and notices Rudra and Shivaay in the kitchen. As he walks over to them he asks them what's going on.

Shiv: Kuch nahin... where are you coming from?

Om: Oh actually I dropped Annika off at home.

R: oh thank god, at least someone knew that she was leaving.

Om: What do you mean?

R: Bhaiya was worried that no one knew about her whereabouts.

Shiv: I wasn't worried... I was just...

Om: Actually she was kind of tensed about no one answering the phone at home and she forgot her purse too. She was already so stressed so I offered her a ride.

Shiv: What... Is everything okay there? Did you check if there was any problem?

Om: No I didn't. She told me to drop her outside the colony since it would be hard to get the car out after so I didn't go with her to her house.

Shiv: How can you be so careless Omkara? You're saying she was tensed and worried at least you should have found out if everything was okay.

Both Rudra and Om look at each other surprised and smile at each other.

R: Bhaiya... When did you start worrying about Annika didi? I mean you don't even like her, you always said that you hate her. So why are you worrying about her now?

Shiv: Asia kuch bhi nahi hai... I really don't care. As he says this he heads towards his room.

Rudra and Om are left smiling and Om tells Rudra I totally agree with you. There's definitely something there between them.

Over at Annika's House

Annika has looked all over the house but Sahil is nowhere to be found. She even looked in the small dark storage rooms where Bua ji usually puts Sahil to scar him. But he's not there either. Finally Bua ji comes house and Annika asks where Sahil is?

Bua: How should I know? As if you guys tell me before you go anywhere.

Anni: I can't find him anywhere. Please Bua ji if you know where he is please let me know.

Bua: I really don't care about where he is and I already told you I don't know where he is. Bua ji leaves from there and goes into her room to sleep.

Annika says to herself, Sahil never goes anywhere without telling me, so where could he have gone? Annika goes around the colony and is looking for him. She goes to a couple Sahil's friend's house to see if he went there, but everyone says they haven't seen him today. She heads back home devastated. As she comes home she goes to Sahil's room and stays there for the night.

Back at the Oberoi Mansion Shivaay is pacing around in his room. Thinking about what Rudra said. Exactly why am I thinking so much her? Why her being in trouble affecting me so much? As he is pacing around in the room he get a call.

Kidnapper is calling the landline of the Oberoi Mansion. Shivaay goes and answers the call.

Shiv: Hello...

K.N.: Is this Mr.Oberoi?

Shiv: Yes.. aap kaun ho?

K.N.: That's not important... mere paas Sahil hai.

Shiv: Sahil kaun? I don't know any Sahil! Ends the call like that before he could get a word in. Goes back to pace around.

I'm already so tensed and now I'm getting these stupid calls.
