Suicide!

Sorry i know everyone is more after Shivaay here and his anger issues, but seriously in this world where actresses and common people are committing suicide almost everyday in this world, i had thought people would see the real issue here shown in this episode!

The suicide attempt, if it was one, doesn't go down too well with me. I don't know but for me, this sudden and rash reaction doesn't fit Omkara's previous characterisation - he has been shown as someone thoughtful and considerate. I would have imagined him going off at Tej especially when Tej raised his hand against Jhanvi, I'd expected him to struggle with this situation and struggle with the urge to take some pills - fighting it since he has been fighting it for so long. But overdoing it? That too after Shivaay just narrowly escaped death?

I think it's not even that. The reason I'm feeling like this is that they handled this whole revelation badly. There should have been more of an impact, it should have come across how heavily this news hit Omkara and how he had already been suffering greatly due to his father. Instead, it all felt pheeka, pheeka - mainly because Anika-Sahil and then, Anika-Shivaay scenes totally disrupted the flow of the episode.

It should have been focued on the Oberois, on Om but since it hadn't been, even the viewers aren't focusing on what Omkara actually did.

committing suicide is wrong, and what Om's did was far worst than Shivaay manhandling a girl elsewhere

I completely agree to this, but why no one is actually speaking of it is because it just became a side episode to the main story of Anika Shivaaye

they shouldn't potray om emotionally so weak.

He had taken drugs to get away from the pain. It was too much to handle. I dnt blame Omi. He loves his mother a lot and watching his father with a woman tht's not his mother didn't go well with him. Am glad Gul is showing this becoz this is a lesson to youngsters showing tht suicide is not the solution. Let's c how it unfolds

agree with you yaar...But showing om to attempt suicide doesnt go well with his previous character though...It even somehow justifies shivay's act too...Atleast they must show how much he suffered till date and what impact it had on him...

As someone said...He saw shivay struggling with his life just now...still he was strong enough to fight against his dad when he claimed him to sign the paper...But today..rather doing such things...He decided to end his life...ITs completely worthless and even doesnt suit with the man like him...or else cvs should concentrate more on this to explore how he taking everything in his life because of his parents conflicts...
