Which movie was better?

IMO Tere Naam was better movie simply because it was not a over-melo dramatic like KHNH.
While Kal Ho Na Ho had some really good music and its comedy scenes did made ne LOL. I felt it was bit trying hard to make people cry.


What is IF's opinion?

Kal Ho Na Ho had everything that Tere Naam didnt.

Kal ho na ho, hands down! SRK - Saif - PZ were totally love in KHNH <3 the title song sung by Sonu is a gem! <3 SRK looked like a million bugs. His intro and the heartbeat in the BG is one of my favs! The movie had all the right elements of fun and drama. I know not many of them like KJo's directorial movies, but i love the larger than life and candyfloss romance his movies had!😳😆 N be it KKHH or K3G or KNHN, they all have repeat value. I'd still watch these movies with the same zeal and enthu!😳😆

I don't know tbh. Voted for Tere Naam just cause the screenplay was more tolerable although depressing as hell. I used to love KHNH when I was a kid, over last few years though, I have developed an mild dislike for it. :P Now SRK's character annoys the hell outta me, he was so patronising, busy-body and an insufferable know-it-all. In real life, I have no patience for such people and usually tell them to get lost. 🤣
Too much melodrama, and other annoying side characters like the Daadi and her annoying friends, and their neighbours. I also hated that SRK's character basically interrupted and shifted equilibrium of Preity-Saif's characters. I believe that their friendship would eventually grow to love, but no! He had to be a busybody and disrupt their beautiful relationship! 😡
Only likeable characters for me were Jenny(Jaya's character) and Saif's character.

Overall message of the film was lovely, but was garnished with way too much melodrama, focussed on one character at the expense of others, and the constant shoving of God-complex of Aman(SRK) down the audience's throats. I liked the bromance between SRK-Saif though! :D

Is it a horror film?

none. both were bad movies and were ruined further by the lack of acting of their female leads..both needed actresses with good acting skills.
