So now the PH is actually breathing and breathing spasmodically for the episodic unfolding have taken a slow pace. Nothing like what we had been introduced and that is a bit disconcerting to begin with. I would want the pace of the series to get back. It is better to run as though Speedy Singh than crawl like Mr. Sloth.
So the episode begins with Om and Rudra in a caf where Ruddy boy is still sulking over the fact that he didn't get the car that he wanted. He is so depressed that he offers the waiter a tip of 10000INR. You know what makers, we do get it that they are Richie Rich, but trust no one from that league throws away 10000 just like that; especially when you have a saner one sitting right across you. Itna bhi mat pheko kii lapetna mushkil ho jaye!!
So Rudra continues with his antiques only to overhear a woman clad in abaya making a deal about her vintage sports car in 40 Lacs when the true prize of the same is at one crore. This one line was enough to tell you that something was fishy but try telling that to Ruddy boy who has his heart so set on the car that he doesn't pay nay heed to anyone. Om tries to reason with him but when does he listens? You this believe-in-what-you-see is a dangerous thing for Rudra and his brothers. Why do I get the feeling that he will be the first to take an attack that is all set to come, he might be the one to open the line of fire both on himself and his brothers. He is a guy who can be easily manipulated, and trust me this doesn't exactly spell doom.
So Rudra makes a tall claim saying look at her eyes...they indicate truth. And Om looks back at her. Okay I think for the first time in the history of Indian Television, in a pseudo romantic scene it was the guy's hairs that were flying while girls was brilliantly clad in black. Gender equality perhaps!đđ Kunal was really intense in that one particular scene after which he felt too tame. It doesn't really sit well for in the previous episodes we have seen such a thunderous and charged up version of him. This tame version is isn't all that likable!
Once the deal happens, where Om rightly inquires about the papers, the Junior ObBros leave and the con artist is introduced. Can I say I am unimpressed? A play-by-play of Amitabh Bachan and Parveen Bobbi from the movie Shaan! Also it was a very much Anika like entrance with drapes flying and slo-mo shampoo adds. I kind of detest batteesi-flaunting heroines who have nothing better than move around in slow motion. And what was that absurd VFX???? Have to admit out of all three female leads, Soumya had the best entry. The other two disappointed. Also the character traits don't seem to fit. The scariest part of con-artists is that they are terribly intelligent; they very well know the psyche of their victims and that is the prime reason why they can carry the task at hand without remorse. I wish the character were a bit ruthless, it would have only added to the dynamics. The under-currents of her character mark her as a gold-digger when she made a mention that she would con the two guys yet again. I don't know how this character will shape but Ishana is all set to break Om's heart and he will end up badly hurt. And I also did not like the stereotype of the girl being Gujarati, hence she money minded. Get real, everyone on this planet is money minded.
Anika is hilarious without a doubt. I must say I am very impressed with Surbhi's comic timing. The girl surely knows to tickle our funny bones, again if you have shredded your logic into confetti. So she finds a chip but breaks open the officer's skull and lands into the jail. Waah!
Shivaay was really irritated at staying locked up inside his house when he should be out slaying his opponents. He then gets the call that his brothers are in jail after having been provided security for their new car. The expressions on Om and Rudra's faces were so apt. Like a deer caught in the headlight. Shivaay's expression had said it all about how massively pissed he was. Rudra should thank his stars that he didn't go about smacking him all black and blue. And next he gets another call from another police station to bail out another trouble. I was just thinking what if he gets married to Anika? His life would surely turn into hell with both Anika and Rudra hogging on his back. You know kind of ek-musibat-ke-saath-doosra-bilkul-muft!
Shivaay finally gets his hand on the micro-chip and deletes the content of the same without even checking the same. His thoughts all the while had been concentrated on Omkara. Maybe Omkara still craves for a family somewhere in his subconscious and Shivaay is aware of the same. Yes Om and Tej have a far from cordial relationship but maybe, just maybe Om has the little hopes of having a family somewhere intact in him and with this scandalous piece of news the last straw that Om has been holding on to would be lost as well. The guy has already been to hell of the most horrible sort and is now back; he is still healing...a setback at this hour would plunge him into the deepest pit and would he be able to crawl back or not, no one can tell. Trust me at that moment my heart went out to Shivaay. He has been holding up for so long only for his brothers, Dadi and younger sister. He never has had a release to let it all out. All he got was a minor throwing away of hid feelings in front of Om. Now tomorrow when the tides finally take a forceful entry into their lives, what will he do? Again CV's explore Shivaay. This guy is much more than pull-push stuff that you make him do.
So the brothers are now back at home and Shivaay wants to rat them out to Dadi. Rudra had the best face all the while, "bhai chodo na...itna bhi kya acha kaam kiya hai."
And Shivaay was, "Dadi aapke in dono laal ko main ache se laal-pila karta hoon." I guess we all could relate to having such elder brothers, no? And then he drags the two to kitchen where it is revealed Shivaay Singh Oberoi kewal teen cheezon ke liye touchy hai, uski height, uske baal aur uske dishes! So he had prepared a new recipe for his brothers mushroom with paneer, parsley and vinegar with oregano. Allah dish sunkar ke pet mein madode uth rahe usko khaaney ke baad to jaan jaani hi jaani hai!
So Tej comes and chides then for having spent their day in a jail Trust me I had been expecting fireworks between Om and his dad but there was none. Kunal, as I said disappointed last night with the kind of performance that he put. I want the Kunal from hospital scenes back!
My heart broke for Jhnavi the clip is out and it is no less than a heart break for her. The poor woman in all likelihood is a puny pawn in the game of power and that aggravates her conditions more. I wish she could turn into a blood thirsty woman and give Tej what he deserves but then again, she doesn't have that bone in her delectable body.
Anika is in for major degrees of trouble as Shivaay will not listen to anyone at all. It is his family name that is under scanner and more than that it is his brother who has taken a hit. This raw monster will cleave apart all that he sees now, beginning with Anika.
