Hello All ,
A song of my favorite movie growing up from The Sound of Music , serving me well today .
There's a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple too,
Up in the nursery an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say Coo-Coo
Regretfully they tell us , But firmly they compel us
to say Good Bye.
So long , Farewell
Adieu, adieu To you and you and You
Today is my last day in the IKRS forum and my initial intent was to simply fade away and vanish , never to come back . It would be rude to do such a thing to friends hence ruled against it.
My reasons for holding on since the 1st of June were crystal clear and now my faith in that resolve too is gone .
Whatever months I watched the show the forum and you guys were such a big part of why this show was and always be part of me . I will cherish these times with you always.
I chanced upon this show at a times of great emotional distress in my life and these fictional characters on the screen bought me solace and comfort . I also came upon a fantastic actor who I will follow if he continues his acting career . I do not have the heart to watch further destruction of a beautiful concept and reducing actors as jokers. I am satisfied with what i got and moving onto the next thing that comes my way .
Again , did not want to make a dramatic exit but to simply take your leave.
Below one of my favorite scenes of the show . Wanted to share it even when my heart breaks looking at it.
