Hey all! It's my first time posting to this forum, but I noticed something about the lead characters names that I felt deserved some attention.

I am not Hindu, so I apologize if I am wrong, but according to Google there is a connection amongst the names. Each of the male names (Shivaye, Omkara, Rudra) are used as names of Lord Shiva, and each of the female names (Anika, Ishana, Soumya) are used as names of Goddess Durga. Is that not interesting?

I've always seen shows where the creators link the names of the male and female lead to show a connection, but this is the first time I am also seeing a connection between the names of the brothers to symbolize how close their bond is.

Is that not interesting?

Yes male leads names of Lord Shiva and female leads of goddess Parvati

Since now they ended the Ishana chapter and a new girl is coming for Omkaras love interest they can name her - "Ishika" or "Isha" - both names of goddess Durga like Ishana.
Hence they can still continue with the couple name for Omkara and his new girl as "Ishkara".

I love their names specially shivaay and omkara...it's unusual first time I heard for tv lead to have this name. Love it.

Yaaa the male leads name are on god Shiva.& female leads names r on godness durgaBt Anika k Islamic meaning bhi gain ishana means rich alsoIshan is god shiva's name & ishana/ishani is godness durga.I'm confuse about SoumyaMany places it's written Soumya is godness laxmi's name& saumya is godness durga.Spelling & numerology differs meaningBt actual meaning of Soumya is decent/beautiful /peace . Now ishana us not part of Ib & another female lead will be introduce Her name also on godness durga I like sharanya a lot It's a unique name of godness durga
