Nids, you amaze me with your ideas, your incorporation of a recent track into a story where you justify it in a way the writers can never imagine to do. What an amazing OS, a much needed insight into the feelings of two characters who have gone through the worst.
IshRa once married for Ruhi, but then grew to be partners to each other in every sense. Now after separating and coming to the same point again would have to drive them into thinking if they would marry once again just as a compromise. It's wonderful that you've given us a story of what they think of this decision which we would never get in the show.
Both yearn to be together, because naturally they have loved each other and still do...and although they would hide behind the fact that it's for Ruhi...they want it just as much. But like you have mentioned ...after enduring such pain and ordeal because of how things turned out between them, the fear of rejection and separation is bound to worry them.
I simply loved the way you first put light on Ishita's inner thoughts and Raman's once again in a novel way by making both of them almost argue with themselves, with their inner mind. That is something I love reading in your stories. Whenever you've done the same very recently with all your pieces.
But my most favorite part is when their fears are blaring right in front of them, obvious to both and Raman proposes in his own twisted way.
The words he used, the introduction to himself and narration to his very well known past made me smile wide while reading. And her response made me smile again but also kind of feel bad. If not for the misunderstandings, their lives wouldn't be back to this struggle again, where they would be made to face with all that they had once overcome.
What was amazing was that the conversation started as if they were strangers meeting for the first time to discuss a prospect for marriage...which was for IshRa starting afresh (something they needed now) and from pretending to know each other to talking about THEIR kids, and what life would be like once they're married (although indirectly) they became what they are even while acting otherwise đ...Just goes to show how they're incomplete without each other and it's something that comes to them without trying.
Once again a wonderful thought which you've treated with such beauty and pleasantness. Leaves one feeling so happy and warm after reading đł
I love you for making my day with it đ¤
