This post solely dedicated to my goofball RSO aka Rudra Singh Oberoi... wanted to write about him yesterday but as it's Sunday full busy...

The play boy cassinova who was till now shielded from hatred and pain by his loved ones was for the first time hit with the reality of loosing a loved one ...exposed to so much pain dat his fragile heart couldn't take it and he slumped down...

Like shivaay says hulk jaise body banaya but he's abhi bhi a Baccha the way he mumbles about his childhood ...how he refused his dad when brought Superman toy cause his personal Superman was his bhaiyya ...even when Om slaps him to reality he blames himself his idea of praying to angels to be the reason for his brother condition... dat in itself proves the deep innocence he has...

The innocence is the reason he completely opens himself up to a random girl ...and when she narrates how she knows the pain of loosing brother he doesn't scoff or think she's showing sympathy ...

Coming to his admiration for Soumya...the same innocence he has reflected in her actions and words dats the reason he couldn't take his eyes off of her the moment she steeped in the room ...

PS: am officially obsessed over rudra now... just to see his reactions I see the epi again... nd man when shivaay pulls his cheeks he looks soo adorable... am jealous of nakul now ...the way he blinks thrice in the precap was so aww...leenesh when can I pull your cheeks plzzz

Nice post! 👏 Rudra winning hearts with his sheer cuteness 😆

We already got little glimpses of his vulnerability before. Like, when Shivaay and Om were fighting over the fact that there was no mention of the man who burnt himself in their function in the media, and Rudra interrupted them. He diverted their attention to something ridiculous but before that, his expression when he was looking at them was subdued and the way he had crossed his arms over his chest seemed a little protective. He clearly hates seeing them fight. Or, that club wala episode. In the club itself, you already noticed that though, Rudra works out a lot that really is nothing but a hobby for him- he doesn't like fighting physically nor is he too confident when it comes down to engaging in fights unless he knows that his brothers are there to help him. I think that's a particularly endearing contrast the CVs created within Rudra, it makes him even sweeter.

But yes, we hadn't seen him break down like he did in the hospital. That was just such a heartbreaking moment. Before that, we had seen Om's and Shivaay's connection, and now for the first time Rudra actually describes his and Shivaay's relationship, "Mom, dad, Shivaay bhai is everything for me." The details that were added like Rudra having spent more time in Shivaay's room than his own since childhood, him not needing any Superman just his brother, Shivaay always protecting and supporting him - they breathed life into this whole narrative. I loved it. But we got also another insight to Om's and Rudra's relationship which isn't just the sweet banter and teasing we had seen till now. Omkara looked like he was going to break down any moment after talking to the doctor but the moment he saw Rudra, he pulled himself together and consoled his younger brother. They draw strength and comfort from each other in different ways; one needs to be strong to protect the other while the other seeks said strength and protection.

I am liking Soumya, so far. You put it very aptly that Rudra holds a certain innocence to him and it made him open up to a complete stranger without a second thought. Likewise, I guess the raw pain on Rudra's face made Soumya approach him, and listening to him talk about Shivaay opened up old wounds for herself. They connected through the pain of losing/fearing to lose their older brother(s). It was sweet. And when she barged into Shivaay's room, Rudra was completely awed and dazed - it's understandable, she assured him before and now, she's even keeping her promise of singing for Shivaay. They both are cute, and I especially love how they both always try to make others smile <3 I hope the CVs keep their angle simple and sweet and don't rush anything. A gradual falling in love without even realizing it would be nice 😆

Now, I just want to see more of the Obros together 😳
