'Suno toh, it wasn't like that. His being forced'

'Toh mai ka karu, I can't entangle my girl in this mess'

'Radi you know me, I really really like Geet and so does Maan. Bechara has been so upset since he heard the news' Dadi disclosed watching a forlorn Maan dress for office

'No Savi, Geet just got back to normal. What if something else happens?' Radha said seeing a smiling Geet skip outside

'Please let the children at least meet. It's the question of their future'

'I don't know'

'Please please please pretty please' Dadi worked her charm and before they know it, Radha had personally invited Savitri over to stay for a few nights so the Handa's could warm to the idea of Maaneet ever happening.

'Hi' Pari wished smiling brightly walking into his cabin, the million pound deal was secured. The future of both Khuranna Construction and Singhania Firms seemed bright, very bright

'Hello' Maan said trying to get his happy voice, Raj's scolding never left his system and Geet's rejection further degraded his mood.

'You seem upset' she probed looking through the file on his desk

'Aisa kuch nahi'

'Where were you yesterday, it was really important for you to be here?'

'I'M SORRY OK, I FORGOT' he raised his voice alarming Pari

'Sorry' he mumbled once again seeing Pari retreat back in shock

'It's OK as long as it doesn't happen again' she lectured while he pushed his head further down trying to focus on the work on hand wanting Pari to disappear into thin air, these girls were making his life a living hell

'Raj uncle had said you went to Hosyarpur, did you like her' Pari asked after a few minutes of silence making him gasp in shock, how did Pari know?

'Hai she's so...' he ran out of words remembering his sweet dream; she came like a fresh of breath air compared to the two dark clouds that he was forced to run behind, like how sheep's followed the shepherd.

'Toh is it finalised' this was the most talking they did ever

'Nahi she said no after finding out about you two' the revulsion he felt was indescribable, the scowl however adorned on his face told clearly of his hate story

'Then why did you, girls don't take that stuff nicely'

'But honestly should be the foundation of any relationship' he defended coming to his feet and sitting beside her, for the first time he was intrigued with what was coming out of Pari's mouth or else most of the time he was either daydreaming or wishing for death

'I know Maan but there has a better way to saying it, imagine I told you that I'm going to weigh out another few guys and until then you'll be lingering in the background'

'I didn't say it like that'

'But the implication is the same, isn't it?' It wasn't a question that should be answered yet Maan found the answer, maybe he should have said in person; maybe then he could have explained the situation much better.

'Raj uncle has reserved a table at Cinnamon Lounge, be on time please' she finished walking away with a small smile seeing Maan busy in his thoughts

'Lekin Nani'

'Lekin vekin kuch nahi come back here as soon as your done and explain it to Maan, I'm leaving for Hosyarpur' Dadima had called Pinky immediately after ringing off with Radha. Pinky had gone to visit her friend in Delhi but seeing the falling situation, Dadi called her back so Pinky could persuade Maan to follow through with the rest of the plan.

'Hey feeling better' Pari called looking at a smiling Maan. Raj personally had booked a table at Delhi's most posh restaurant wanting to set the scene for his son and soon to be daughter-in-law, well so was the hope.

'I've decided to pay her visit soon' Maan divulged his plan while pulling out the chair for Pari. Maybe this wasn't going to be an excruciating date' both thought throwing themselves into the conversation. An hour into the date, both were caught laughing and talking. Business and Geet acted like an ice breaker but nevertheless they found common ground making it easier to connect. Pari, he realised was a sophisticated and sweet girl. She carried an air of arrogance but deep down she was polite and caring.

'Sorry about the meeting once again' he apologised but she wrote it off, they had got the deal so the general mood was of excitement.

'I think you like her, so be more bold and say no to your parents' she advised one last time before exiting his car

'Hey Pari, friends' he shouted getting out of his car

'Friends' she replied in an equal manner from her door step, being loud and boisterous wasn't her thing. She was a business woman, hence it was important for her to maintain office decorum in all aspects of her life be it office or home but with Maan; he made it easy for her to be Pari and not the Pari Singhania.

'What time do you call this Maan' Pinky moaned, she was sitting in her pajamas for the last 1 hour waiting in his bedroom

'Hi would be nice, and good to see you back' his sarcastic jibe didn't invade Pinky, however his broad smile did manage to shock her, Maan according to her Nani was is a distorted state then what happened now

'Tumhe kya hua' she asked feeling his head

'I'm much better thanks to Pari' he leaned in kissing her cheeks before disappearing into the bathroom

'Kya no no no' Pinky dismissed, Maan can't have fallen in love with Pari so soon especially if he was crying over Geet just this morning plus they had a plan to abide by.

'Nani ko phone kharta hoon' she thought immediately flipping her phone open
