Ishqbaaaz Written Update : 10/07/16

The episode starts with Tej walking into Shivaay's hospital room and asking for Omkara to step out for a minute or two with him. Omkara tells him about Rudra being out for buying some medicines and that he can't leave Shivaay alone. To that, Tej coldly states that Shivaay won't die if Om leaves his side for a.few mintutes in turn angering Omkara. Tej tells him that he'll be waiting for him outside and steps out. Omkara steps out and follows him while a mysterious hand is shown against the window pane just as the father son duo leave.

At the other end, Anika is searching for Sahil and is worried. The goon quietly tries to slip away with Sahil but fails and catches Anika's attention. Before she can get to him, he drives off in his van but Anika decides to follow him.

Meanwhile, Omkara is furious at Tej for having even insinuated that Shivaay won't make it. Tej asks him to be practical and justifies that he doesn't wish for any harm to Shivaay but if something were to happen, they should be prepared to face the same and asks Om to sign a few papers, giving him Shivaay's position in the family business. Omkara rebukes his comments and refuses the same. Tej doesn't seem to take no for an answer and keeps pushing Omkara to sign the papers. Omkara is shocked to see his dad stoop down to a new low and tells Tej of the same. Tej, in turn taunts him by stating that not everyone in the world can be artists and that to run the world, you need to listen to your brain and not your heart. He again asks Omkara to step in to fill Shivaay's place is he doesn't pull through since Shivaay handles a big protion of their empire and he wants Om to do so. This doesn't settle well with Om, who raises his hand towards Tej. Tej is shocked on seeing his son, almost raise his hand against his father. This is witnessed by Kalyani who is broken on seeing this. She walks over to them and tells them of how this is not the values she taught them. Tej is still angry at Om's gesture and tells him that had he not been his son, he would have faced dire consequences for raising his hand infront aan, the whole world bows down to. Daadot threaten her grandchild when she is still around. Tej inturn asks her of the day when she isn't arou d to save Omkara and tells her that he was only preparing him for the future. He reminds her of the time when hia father passed away. He says that had he broken down and wept all day long like his sibling did, they wont be having this luxurious life now.

Tej blames his son and him not knowing of resecting his father. Kalyani points out that Tej would have reaped respeft, had he sown affection and love instead of money. She asks him to introspect as to why Omkara only misbehaves with him and not anyone else in the family. She also tells Omkara that no matter what, Tej is his father and he has to respect him.

While all this happens outside, the lady who had earlier run into Shivaay at the street poisoning him, takes out the bottle of medicine Om had termed dangerous for Shivaay due to his heart condition. She goes into his room and tries to inject his blood bag with it. Shivaay starts having trouble breathing and is shown to be in an uneasy state.

Meanwhile, Kalyani is asking Omkara to never cross his limits and to never do any such thing. she tells him that a son's hand should only be used to touch his father's feet amd nothing else. Tej again hands Om the papers and asks him to sign them down. Omkara takes the papers but states that though he is obligated to repect Tej as he is his father, he is under no such obligation to respect the paper handed over to him and tears it up.

In Shivaay's room, in an uneasy state, he clasps on to the lady's hand in turn making it difficult for her to inject the medicine into the blood bag. In a desperate attempt to free herself, she collides with a tray kept on the table nearby causing it to fall down and cause a loud noise. Omkara, Daadi and everyone else take notice of the same and rish to Shivaay's room only to find the lady trying to harm him. Just as they enter, they see the lady beinf pushed away by another woman in turn saving Shivaay. Everyone takes the lady outside and lift her veil. Pinky questions her as to why she did all this and Omkara recognises her to be the same woman, who had run into Shivaay on his way back from the police station and deduces that she must be the one to poison him. Surprisingly the lady is not the same one with a burn mark on her hand.

The lady in question however tells them that she is Ashok's wife, the same guy who had set himself ablaze at their party. She declares that she has grudge against the whole family and not just Shivaay. She tells them of the hardships ahe had to endure once her husband was fired from the Oberois' factory for having tumbled onto one of Tej and Shakti's secrets and how he had to set himself ablaze due to their family. She says she wanted them to cry just like she did.

Just then the police come and take her into custody while promising for a change in the places' security.

Daadi suggests that they thank the woman who saved Shivaay's life and spots her walking away. Omkara stays back with Shivaay while the daadi along with Pinky amd Jhanvi go to her. Daadi stops her and thanks her for saving Shivaay and says that this favour she did on them can't ever be repaid. The lady in turn tells her that one doesn't do favours for family and turns around. She is the same woman with the burn mark on her hand. She touches Kalyani's feet, while addressing her as mom. Kalyani, Pinky and Jhanvi are shocked to see her.

At the other end, Anika stops the van with the goons and saves Sahil with Bunty and other people's aid. She hugs Sahil and frees him. Saahil cried his heart out while engulfing his sister in a tight hug.

At the hospital, the ladies are now shown sitting on a couch with Kalyani's lond estranged daughter. She tells them of how she was dying to meet them all but was too ashamed to present herself before them. She repents over having spent half her life doing the wrong things and spending the other half of her life, crying over those deeds. Jhanvi and Pinky don't seem to be buying her act and Jhanvi enquires about her relase from jail. She tells them that it has been a few months since and also, apologises to daadi for her actions. She swears that had she gotten even the slightest of clue about her husband wronging her family, she would have sent him to prison herself. She says she owuld have chosen her family over her husband and apologises for the things that happened. Jhanvi and Pinky still seem a little skeptical of her but Daadi tells her that she is family and one can't stay anger at their family for long.

While this happens, Shivaay is shown to have gained consciousness. Rudra and Omlara are shown to be by his side. Omkara tells Shivaay that apart from his larger ego, nothing else is wrong with him while Rudra complains to Shivaay about the forms he was made to sign and tells him that had anything happened to Shivaay, he wouldn't have ever talked to him. Shivaay teases Rudra of being a cry baby despite having a strong physique. Om supports Rudra and chides Shivaay for having gone out without security with him. He asks him why he left in the forst place reminding Shivaay of his meeting with Anika. He tells his brothers about Anika. Rudra tells him that he is obsessed with the girl, a statement Shivaay rubishes. He tells them that he had gone to teach hersome manners but it turns out that no one can do that. He calls Anima bad news.

Just then, the girl Rudra had met the previous day at the corridor spots them and comes in. Rudra keeps looking at her without blinking his eyes. She calls Shivaay 'bhaiya' shocking Omkara and Shivaay.

Precap

Rudra's new friend, sings for the brothers in order to cheer Shivaay up and boost hom to health while Rudra stares at her without the blink of an eye. Om and Shivaay look at each other dumfounded.
