I don't think this stardom factor works for anyone else except Khans. Not like khans were born with stardom, they have earned it after surviving for more than 2 decades. They have their loyal set of audience coz they are brand now but they can get maximum 15 to 17 crore opening with their presence and rest holidays and festival play a big role.

I feel there is no way to know success formulas of movies.

Sometimes even WOM cant save them (read lootera) but normally WOM can completely change the fate (Read queen which opened with 1+ crore and it was almost flop but WOM did wonder for it).

Few crap movies end up getting blockbuster or super hit tag just becoz of blockbuster music and not so high budget. Music played big roles in Movies like A2, EV, YJHD and HS3.

Now a days everyone is going out for promotion but promotion doesn't mean guaranteed success. There should be something in movie to work in its favor, either music should be too good or Story should be interesting or it should be festival release just to earn at least something.

Baki to every Friday new superstar takes birth in this forum and same superstar end up becoming flop star with next crap release. Stardom factor is just to troll.

Yes it is, at least for the super stars whose star power really pulls people to watch the movie. But apart from that the factors pulling in are songs and promos. This only works for the initial shows and later on its the entertainment value of movie. But some movies get poor opening and later pick up. So in the end the winning factor is the content.

Opening Day figures shows Stardom only of Khans and i would add maybe HR to that everyone else NO but even to them the kind of movie, Music and holiday add to the numbers.
All others success on opening day and lifetime collections is depending on everything. Thats why i find it funny when fans are argumenting how that young actor or that actress has a bigger BO pull. Actors from this generation their opening no. always change with every movie.
