I think for Sattu the most beloved thing is Pari's love for him. So, he has sacrificied that to get Pari's life back.
He also thinks he is responsible for all her misfortue. So, he is going to do "prayashchit-to".

But I strongly believe this has to do with the mahasamarpan and Sattu did something that is pushing him to create this sequence.
