Hi,

I remember in the initial episodes that they have a son living in the US. It was never shown if he was younger than Preeti or elder to him, but have they forgotten him completely ? Can't he help them arrange the money ? I am not saying that he may be rich just because he is in the US, may be he is just studying or something, we don't know much about him anyway. But why are there no scenes where they mention him or consider taking his help ?

Just curious !

not really daboo mentioned him when he was praying for sumo .. mami said all saving added up doesnt come close to what is needed .. that means his saving too

Anuj is elder to Preeti and I think he is Shown to be employed in the US. Agar US mein kaam karta hai paise hone chahiye na?? Wonder even if he would come for the shaadi??

Yes he is supposed to have a job there. Because Daboo said that Mummy prayed for Bhaiyya to get a job and you got a job for him in US? So why are they not asking him for some help as well. Yes he is probably not rich but surely he can help as well?

I really hope another way comes about without using the "Blood money" of Ramnath! What an awful man and a control freak? Just coz he could not handle his wife's success when his practice was failing, he is taking it out on his son's love interest now?

He is a typical MCP who thinks women should stay in the Kitchen and just run the house and have NO life outside the home. Men like him are the reason women still have to fight for their rights. He is such a cheap man! Sorry for the rant, but I HATE that man!

mami and masi always considers sumo as a money making machine. Preeti also takes sumo for granted. Forget masa and mama as they have no say in front of their wives.

Nanu's hands are tied and he fully aware of everybody's attitude towards sumo

No according to him women do have life outside home but that is limited to shopping, parties, gossiping etc... 😡

Yes that is why he likes Kamini and Vandy. Air heads who only waste time going shopping and acting like bimbos. He likes Preeti for the same reasons. She is not a "threat" in his mind. I pity stupid men like him. The fact is, it is women like Kamini who ruin families and lives. They are selfish and money grabbing. All they do is live with you and plot how to get everything you have. Nirmala was not like that. In fact she worked to make their lives better. But as thanks he suspected her and insulted her, was jealous of her success.

Men like Ramnath deserve to be publicly humiliated. The fact is he deserves Shravan's hate. Not his unconditional love. The man is so pathetic. His only redeeming quality is his respect for Mr Tiwari. If not he is a waste of space. HE thinks he knows what's best for his son. His own cheap and low thinking is what drove his wife away, NOT her career. He never supported it. So he thinks that ALL career women dont have any love or care for their family? I am a career women myself. That does not stop me loving my family. Yes I like my job and I am good at it. But that is only one part of me. It's good they are highlighting this issue on the show.

Sadly I think Ramnath's bias is shared by others as well!
