Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who is popularly known as Gopi of Saath Nibhana Saathiya, has injured herself. According to reports, the actress slipped from the staircase of her residential building and suffered cuts on her forehead.
Devoleena plays the lead on the show and hence, will continue shooting for it despite the injury. Since she has got several stitches, the makers of the show have decided to tweak the plot. She will be seen getting injured in a sequence.
Also, viewers will soon witness a shocking twist in the plot of the show. Dr. Krishna (Khalid Siddiqui), who married Gopi after the death of her husband Ahem Modi (played by Mohammad Nazim), becomes a villain.
Kajal Pisal, who played the role of Mansi, will also be re-entering the show. And she will turn things upside down for Gopi.
