Hrithik says that playing a villain is very multi-dimensional and he liked the challenge of being bad. His role in 'Dhoom 2' sounds like fun to Hrithik for it's the kind of suave villain's role he has been longing to do for a while and it instinctively excited him.
Another first for Hrithik in 'Dhoom 2' will be the pairing with Aishwarya Rai . And he says that from the feedback that he is getting, people are looking forward to seeing them together. But Hrithik hopes that the characters played by him and Ash justify their presence.
When reminded that sequels don't work in India, Hrithik said that he is doing two sequels even though he can't remember one sequel that has worked, but the challenge of doing something that hasn't succeeded so far attracts him.
Hrithik says that he wants to walk on a road where no one has been before, adding that there should be sequels in Bollywood.
