A source says, "Shweta suffered a miscarriage in mid 2015 and was admitted to a Santa Cruz hospital. Apart from her family members, their common friends are aware of the incident. She was advised complete rest and that was when Pulkit got drawn towards Yami. While she rested, he went astray."

Pulkit and Shweta got married in November 2014 in Goa, a celebration that was attended by her rakhi brother, Salman Khan, and his family. There had been buzz that the two had secretly tied the knot a few years ago, and that this was their official announcement to the world. Barely a year later, they parted ways.

Adds the source, "Though Pulkit and Shweta used to live in Versova, they would spend a major part of the day at her mother's home on Andheri Link Road. Yami was a neighbour in the same building. Pulkit would even have his professional meetings at Shweta's mom's place. When Shweta was ill, Pulkit and Yami would work out together in the building gym and shooting for the same films brought them closer. Yami would often carry a tiffin for Pulkit on set, say observers. Later, with growing buzz about their friendship, Yami moved out of the building."

Though there were misunderstandings between Shweta and Pulkit's family that resides in Delhi, the couple appeared to be happy and in love, the source adds.

Neighbours also claim when Yami was acting in films down South, she was linked to Telugu actor Allu Sirish, who also stayed in the same building. However, she always maintained that he was 'just a friend'.
