We had seen lots and lots of successful businessmen in Indian Television screens but for the first time we got to see a character from the world of art. Omkara a character which revolves in its own predictably. Am attracted to Shivaay, enjoy Rudra the most but speaking honestly is most deeply attached to Omkara as I, myself is related with this world from last twelve years. Omkara is so perfectly drawn character, that I think to describe it I will really end with a long post.
The first thing is what is an ARTIST? When I saw him with his half done sculptor I was famished with the thought that he was using a blend knife in making the curves of the clothes of the half done man.
Actually I wanted to say that using a blend knife is one of the proof in which level of the Art world Omkara is. But jumping on there and his character in direct language will be mystery who are totally a part of audience to this world. So I will go in a little detailing.
Artist is a criticizer, lover, friend, guardian and a sharp descender of complicated thoughts. Some people are really easy to understand but in the world of art that amount is really less. For an artist the outside world is really a source where he or she can draw inspiration. The cultural world was mainly drawn for entertainment but for an artist that's the world where they actually resides.Even a singer or dancer is called an Artist. But now the category widens, and here coming to this character Omkara he belongs to the world of Art.
Art, just a subject of learning for kids. If we ask an adult to do it he or she would say we are not babies that we will draw. Leaving it, for a person related with art the surrounding world is the most important thing, yet the ecstasy of the world inside the canvas is also very important. If you look from outside both the world inside the canvas and outside the canvas are very different. Sitting inside a small room a painter can draw a beautiful nature view in his canvas, that's his imagination yet its inspired from reality. Such places exist otherwise how he would imagine.
Now leaving behind the thoughts over Artists and we concentrate in Omakara, he is actually a sculptor by profession. Just to hear it large the cvs said him to be an Artist. One can take the artist as roots and painter, sculptor etc, as branches. If we really concentrate on Omkara we are actually watching a person who can paint but his specialization is sculpting. So I would like to limited our view first to know Omkara more.
Omkara, a man grown up watching his father having a mistress, his mother being alcoholic in depression. Now what kind of mind status should he have? Obviously disturbance. He indeed is disturbed but looks the most stable of three brothers. Now what is the role of the world of ART in making his personification one can think. Art is a medium which not only helps to isolate oneself to build a new world totally different but also relieves one to the core. He isn't disturbed to that level as Shivaay as he already has a stand to rely on. For an artist his works are like his babies, lover and so more. Those lifeless works can speak thousands of words when the artist put his eyes and hands on it. Those works can gain the most of his time hence its brings patience and layers of mind where different thoughts can be judged in different ways.
In the promo we heard him say perfect marriage and love doesn't exist and yet trying his limits to make Shivaay understand the essence of true love. First there's difference between two words perfect and true. Second his judgments, when he said about the concept of love he didn't contradict himself but judged things in different ways. His mind believing the prospect that in perspective only the horizon can divide the earth and the sky yet deciding where to put the horizon on the canvas is totally to oneself. In the same way true love exists its a truth yet the deciding version of truth stays to oneself, and it would also not be that shocking if he says love doesn't exist for him after advising Shivaay as its a total different issue when it comes to himself and his judgement would change for categorizing that which truth he wants to hold for him.
If we see him more closely then we will understand he is not an on moment person but can also judge things thinking various things in the same time.
Special thanks to cvs to understand how an artist should look because a person related to the world of art is more into work than style. I have seen many artist myself who has long hair. Its not because of fashion but they don't want to waste their time in a barber's shop. đ
